JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort

Just recently stayed at JWMarriot at Marco Island. (March 12-15) Reserved two rooms that were supposed to be Kings with pullout bed. When we arrived and checked in we had two king rooms with no pullout bed. We had our grandchildren with us and we needed the pullout beds. Hotel agreed to provide roll out bed but very uncomfortable and not what we paid for. I have requested a refund

Friendly and incredibly kind staff. Food choices were excellent. Proximity to the beach is unbeatable! The pools were beautiful. I would suggest more serving staff around the pool. It took quite a while to order something.

We just recently returned from our annual trip to the JW Marriott on Marco Island, which was our fifth trip in as many years. There are quite a few reason that we enjoy going back every year, including the beautiful beach and wonderful staff. But there is one real reason that we continue to go back every year rather than trying a new location. That is the core crew at the Kane Tiki & Cigar Bar on the hotel beach. James, Mike & Chris make us feel like family every time that we return. We look forward to ending every day with them while smoking a cigar and having a nightcap. It truly feels like family when we are hanging out with them. I hope that the hotel truly appreciates the value that these three bring to each guests experience! We are already looking forward to next September with the crew!

My wife and I spent the second half of our honeymoon here and had an amazing time! Even though we went out of season and the weather wasn’t all that great - the staff worked to make it an excellent time when everyone could get some beach time in! Shout out to Sean especially for providing excellent service and fun conversation throughout our trip. Anything we needed at the beach, he provided. The beach itself is amazing, the waves are so calm and the water is warm, the sand is very well taken care of and there’s seashells aplenty! There’s also a protected population of sea turtles nearby which is awesome. The island as a whole is easy to get around and there’s loads of decent food options, all in all pretty much everything you could ask for out of a beach trip! We’re definitely thinking of coming back.

Shaun, the beach photographer, was so friendly and made us feel safe in a thunderstorm with some great humor to boot. Made us want to come back! Great beach and hotel. Shaun is the best!

I was at the hotel for a business conference and brought my husband. Food = great Hotel interior Staff = great Pool/staff = good My husband is disabled and the biggest miss at this hotel is furniture. There is not 1 comfortable chair on the whole first floor. Give up the artsy fartsy stuff that really isn’t seating. It was awful. Only an office chair in the room is not acceptable. The most comfortable chair my husband found was in the floor laundry!!! The pool staff was great and brought him a cabana chair for pool time. Unfortunately, on the afternoon we had open for pool time, it was very understaffed. The servers did their best but I felt their frustration. When it is 90 degrees outside with 95% humidity, suggest or offer inside seating. I understand it extra work but having over 300 people sit outside to eat hot food is not pleasurable. Shade just didn’t cut it. We went elsewhere the last night based on seagull interference on the beach. Strongly suggesting to the customer that beach dinner may not be a great idea. I know a pivot can be done. I was there during a hurricane one time and it was handled flawlessly. All of the meals were very very good, had we been inside. The 5th floor arcade was tons of fun and the bar staff was awesome.
