Great location, beautiful nature! The hotel staff was friendly and the room was super clean/comfortable. We would like to stay here again when we have the other chance to visit Mendig.
(We didn't get any instructions about the park space and we were confused on site for a while, so it would be great if we could get the information in advance. :) )

Top hotel with brilliant view to the lake. All rooms refurbished in 2021, excellent kitchen, and 50 meters away to the castle built in 1093…so 1000 years old! And 200 meters away from the old Vulcan lake Maria Laach Dinner in the in house restaurant was just gorgeous. I had the duck with brussel sprouts!

Superb hotel, view at the lake, nice and quit area. In the middle of nature. We stayed for 3 nights. Minibar (softdrinks and beer) is free, but was not refilled. Breakfast was perfect, Many different types of bread, cheese platter, charcuterie platter, smoked salmon, yogurt, muesli, eggs, fruit, fruit juices, cava .... Safe parking

An excellent location with their own access to the Laache Maare. Foods and drinks are exceptionally good but pricy. many interesting geological and historical sites in the area but accessable by car. No good bicycle trails, but on the Mosel (45 minutes away) there are excellent paths for relaxed trips.
