The hotel was like a private home, the staff were so attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Three beautiful terraces, one of which was wonderful for watching the sunset go down!

We had a beautiful lunch on the roof terrace at L'Hotel Marrakech that felt like a private escape. The setting was absolutely stunning—crisp white linen, a gentle breeze through lush greenery, and the air fragrant with blooming flowers. The set menu was delicious and generous; I couldn’t get enough of the goat cheese and date salad, and the lamb chops were to die for. The service was warm and attentive—our waiter made us feel truly looked after, even if I didn’t catch his name. A calm, elegant experience I’d return to in a heartbeat for a special treat.

We arranged to have dinner at l’hotel Marrakesh as we wanted to see the Jasper Conran designed Riad. I had no real idea of what to expect and was completely blown away by the whole experience. Upon arrival we were treated to a tour of the Riad and as it only has 6 rooms, it was completely deserted. We were then shown to the room where we would be dining, looking out onto the lush garden and courtyard. It was just us! A private dining experience in a luxurious setting. We could hear the bird song and Billie Holiday was playing in the background. The food was superb, not fussy, fresh and by far one of the best meals we had during our trip to Marrakesh. The service was impeccable, the young guy that served us was attentive and kind, just perfect. This was by far the highlight of our trip for me and we definitely plan on staying here for a couple of nights on our next visit.

This was a truly wonderful oasis. Refined. Elegant. Tasteful. The linens are from a nearby place that are fabulous. The food in the hotel is outstanding. All of the staff are well trained, attentive and lovely. Location was great. Definitely a bit less traditional Moroccan and more refined. You will not be disappointed.

The worst luxury hotel experience I have ever had. We arrived at the riad and were shown to our room which smelled of mildew. We were visiting during Ramadan and had taken the time to email the hotel ahead of time and ask if there were any particular restrictions we should be aware of while staying with them, asking specifically if they would be able to serve cocktails or wine, to which the hotel indicated that some other establishments may refuse to serve locals but for a foreigner visiting with them there would be no such restrictions. Upon arrival, I had to attend to a few emails after a day of travel and called to the front desk and asked if we could have two beers sent to our room. We were informed that the hotel does not serve alcohol. Naturally this was confusing to us given the email correspondence. Naturally we wish to be respectful of the local culture, but at the same time we are wine enthusiasts and at this point it felt like a bit of deception on the hotels part. When we spoke to the manager he indicated that all guests are supposed to be informed of this upon booking but acknowledged there was an oversight on their part and we were not told of this, and couldn't explain why it again was not brought up when we emailed asking about this very topic despite acknowledging the hotel does not have a liquor license. One of the part bizarre moments was when the manager then offered to go out and bring the next day and bring back wine for us. Needless to say this made us quite uncomfortable as we were certainly not asking the hotel to break local laws. We just wish they had not been so deceptive.

My wife and I stayed in a suite here for five nights in Jan 2024. It was our first time visiting Marrakech and I will admit I was very intimidated by the city’s layout. However, upon checking in, our concierge took us through a map of the city, noting places of interest and giving tips on interacting with the city’s inhabitants. Our room was spacious, on the ground floor and had a private terrace in the open area of the Riad (which is filled with trees and local birds). The hotel offers food and non-alcoholic drinks (so definitely bring a bottle of wine with you if you’d like to enjoy it on the rooftop or in your room - they will keep it on ice for you and serve you as needed if you like). The staff are incredibly kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a hotel in Marrakech (whether you’re a newbie like us or an expert!) Cannot wait to come back!

The hotel and room were beautiful and the staff took wonderful care of us. However, upon arrival our shower head was broken so we could not take a shower and the manager then informed us the plumbing company would not be able to fix the issue until the following day. The staff and the manager went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, but this is not an issue you would expect at a hotel of this calibre and needs to be fixed. Our stay would have been perfect were it not for the plumbing issue.

We had a truly memorable and exquisite stay at L’Hotel Marrakech. Every member of staff is a complete credit to the hotel, it’s owner and the management, making the entire experience a delight. Stepping out of a nondescript alley every time you return to “welcome home” just about sums up the experience. We stayed in the Casablanca suite and so had a wonderful terrace where we could choose to take breakfast each morning or sit outside overlooking the gardens and enjoying the birdsong. The room was stunning and so tastefully decorated. We ate one dinner, a lunch and breakfast every day and the food is of a quality to match the hotel, with the service once again, spot on every time. Despite having travelled extensively and been lucky enough to stay in some beautiful places, L’Hotel Marrakech would be in my Top 3 hotel experiences of all time. We can’t wait to return and indeed to experience Jasper Conran’s latest creation in Tangier.
