這家酒店位於山頂，安藤忠雄設計。一梯一户的房間，新館+本館一共七間。因為今天到的晚，酒店留了四位工作人員專門為我們服務，之前還一直郵件往來詢問到達時間，是否有食物過敏等問題，甚是關心與細緻。訂的是半露天温泉森林房。房間很大，但裝修風格很安藤，房間有私湯但不是露天的，兩個衞生間，迷你吧各種飲料，愛媛橘汁很是好喝。整個酒店就是Andou Tadao的gallery。主打空曠，自然光，混凝土，地下室。直島Chichu Gallery的迷你版。

住進酒店彷彿住進了一家美術館，非常喜歡灑滿陽光的餐廳，早餐和晚餐非常精緻美味；咖啡廳有很多安藤忠雄的書籍可以翻閲；強烈推薦海景房，直接俯瞰瀨户內海，清晨可以看着大海慢慢的磨豆子做手沖咖啡，好喜歡房間裏的咖啡豆！！走的時候都想買一包帶走了😋服務也非常棒！是非常完美的旅行體驗！♥️

位置在山上可以俯瞰瀨户內海，很有設計感的酒店，由安藤忠雄親自設計改造，晚上在泳池這邊可以看晚霞，整個酒店就7間客房，餐食也十分精緻

While we experienced some wonderful hotels in Japan, this was our favorite. First of all the island of Shikoku was wonderful, mountainous, green and with very few Western tourists. Our waiter who was fluent in English said they only get a few Americans a year at the hotel. So wonderful contemporary architecture. Only 7 rooms, ours was very large, great views. The pool was for some reason off limits, but more than made up for with the private onsen in our room. Staff were uniformly helpful and warm. Meals were very high quality and I will include a couple photos of menu and a dish. I really enjoyed the lounge above the restaurant to have a drink in and enjoy some music before dinner. Yes the hotel is showing some wear and tear but it does little to detract from the experience which was magical. Highly recommend hiking portions of the very long temple to temple trail - we ended up with a guide/driver which was helpful.

Fantastic experience in one and only architecture masterpiece attached with local delicacies. Aonagi resort is the hidden jewel in Setouchi area, a must go when you visit around Shikoku, or even if you’re considering visiting west Japan broadly. Tadao Ando, a global maestro who has won the Pritzker architecture award has built this unique 7 rooms all suite hotel. Every details has magnificent eye from the architect, and intellectual journey to seek that is already an adventure. The services are that of 5 star hotel in any large city, and the food is just one and only. The sashimi provided to us was very original yet traditional, and the thickness of its cut and focus on details has opened the door for the definition of yellowtail for us. Also very impressed by the passions to detail of the sommelier Imazu. His combination with bottled sparkling tea and Georgian ancient wine paired with traditional Japanese was just a series of wonderful surprises. Definitely a recommend looking forward going again.

If you are looking for a special experience in Japan then book a stay at this wonderful and unique hotels. The building is a stunning architectural mix with the surrounding countryside. The suite we stayed in had two rooms and was a brilliant experience for my family. The staff are very friendly once you can get past their formality :). They are very expert at making you feel like a welcome guest. The Chef is outstanding and without a doubt the best selection Kaiseki menus over the 4 nights we stayed. Every night was a different menu and delicious. Brett was our excellent host bridging the gap with our limited Japanese with perfect English. We loved it and will be back for sure
