An old castle in need of a little TLC but rooms are spacious and clean with staff friendly and effecient. Booking was easy, grounds well maintained with pleasant walks. The rooms spacious and have all you need in them, windows not airtight, but clean. The food in restaurant excellent, menu has a decent variety , delay between courses a little long but standard of food on offer excellent, and friendly service.

Stayed for one night and it was a magical experience. The castle is stunning, Christmas decor added to the beautiful ambiance. Every member of staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and cosy. Our meal was simply outstanding, full of flavour and catered to all our tastes. The four of us loved our stay and we will definitely be back in the future.

Went with my wife a present from my daughter for my birthday, beautiful castle very welcoming attentive staff looked promising, got the keys to the room and the wheels fell off the bus. Heating not working window wouldn’t shut , told receptionist and the sent up a guy to fix it. I thought it was fixed and went for dinner, forgot something went back to room freezing. Told receptionist again they said would address it. Ordered food I got my starter my didn’t apparently the chef did not know how to cook flat iron steak starter on the menu we shared mine, took the magic out of our visit mains given to wrong people mayhem to be honest. Went up to bed huge industrial electric heater in the room window closed. Obviously this heating system is not working correctly and they have bought these heaters to heat the room. I really liked the place but it needs major works to improve the experience.

The Most Relaxing and Enchanting Stay! Thank you to the incredibly attentive, genuine, and friendly staff. Every person we encountered was warm, engaging, and sincerely helpful. And when I say helpful, they go an extra ten miles for you. We had reserved Afternoon Tea and were absolutely spoiled with our very own private room. We were seated by the bay window, and the room was beautifully prepared with an open fire which was topped up while we dined. Our server, Ricardo, was wonderfully attentive and such a genuinely lovely person. The Afternoon Tea itself was delicious, and since our eyes were bigger than our bellies, Ricardo thoughtfully packaged the remaining treats for us to enjoy later. At check-in, Stephen, a manager, kindly offered to carry our luggage to our room—and so did every staff member we passed along the way, the cleaners the following morning also offered to carry out our bags. I declined only because I wanted to walk off my Afternoon Tea! Our room was exceptional, featuring a stunning four-poster bed overlooking the garden. We loved relaxing in the seating area by the bay window, and since our stay was just before Christmas, we watched a Christmas movie. We went for drinks to the Award winning Armada Bar where Stephen served us drinks and I really enjoyed my gin cocktail. The bar is linked to a sitting room with very Downton Abbey vibes. Stephen is so accommodating and really made our experience from mixing incredible drinks, to becoming our personal photographer, to giving us a history of the castle and the family background. He is so warm and kind and just so welcoming. We felt spoiled. I travel with my Mum every year and Belleek Castle has been her favourite stay. She enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and Stephen was beyond kind, professional and considerate. Dinner was a show stopper, I had the Famous Bullock Steak which is Flambéed at the table. Loved the experience and the drama! Dinner was absolutely gorgeous and Stephen delivered a cocktail to our table. Belleek is a beautiful property but the staff really make it. It’s the most relaxed atmosphere for a castle. I can’t wait to return.

Another wonderful stay at Belleek Castle this weekend. Beds - heaven. Food, excellent. Drinks by the fire - bliss. Staff all warm and helpful if slightly run off their feet... This hotel is popular and for good reason! If I could offer one suggestion, it would be that the current dinner menu could use a better vegetarian main. A stuffed pepper isn't very exciting or filling, and really pales in comparison to the rest of the menu. Breakfast was fab, the bar (which we didn't check out last time, was beautiful with a great lively atmosphere. Thank you for an excellent stay - can't wait for the next visit!

I was so lucky to receive a tour of the castle hotel! Carol was incredibly knowledgeable and we talked informally for an hour about Irish history as it related to the Knox-Gore Family and their residence over time including during the Great Famine and after their departure (i.e., the tuberculosis sanatorium, military barracks, and ultimately hotel, venue, and museum). After our insightful conversation, she took me on a tour of Marshall Doran’s exceptionally eclectic collections including geology, Irish history, and weaponry. I loved being able to feel the weight of the weapons from the medieval period and seeing an executioner’s sword limited to use for beheading gentlemen was quite the education!
