We had a wonderful stay at the Palace de Menthon. The location is absolutely gorgeous, right on the lake with stunning mountain views and easy access to a private walking path along the water. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. Breakfast was excellent with a great variety and a lovely setting. The hotel feels peaceful and secluded, yet it’s just a short drive from charming Old Town Annecy. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Truly a perfect experience – we would love to return

Beautiful location and hotel, breathtaking experience. Quite a high authorisation deposit charge upon arrival just as a pre warning to anyone debating this location.

Two days of complete luxury in the most idyllic setting on the banks of Lake Annecy with attentive and friendly staff, delicious food and every amenity you could wish for. A worthwhile treat!

Upon arrival they informed me that the room I booked was not available and in their system it was a lower level room. I had booked a panoramic lake view room but was put in a room that faced an exterior wall. The first person at the hotel I notified about the issue was dismissive and told me that that the room I got was what was in their system and they would not accommodate any change as the reservation was made in ******* (which it was not it was booked through Chase travel). Although the room was not what I had paid for, we tried to enjoy our time; however, the service was poor and the kids running around the resort made it hard to enjoy. We tried to enjoy drinks on the balcony, and our ear space was invaded by children singing songs about farts. It was very hard to find a relaxing moment or good service in this hotel. We felt like the hotel employees did not want us there. We ended up checking out early. If you want to stay here only book through their website as all other guests are treated like garbage for booking through an alternative method.

A superb stay (once again) on the shores of Lake Annecy. Incredible setting and first class and friendly service throughout. Having stayed at most decent places around the lake over the years, the Palace at Menthon St Bernard has become our favourite

We loved our room and the views over the lake. Great service from the staff, brilliant facilities all round. The robes are very soft and plush.
