Horrible experience during our current stay. During Check inn we requested a room in a level where there remodel work was not in place. Check inn attendant said she would grant that request, and gave us a room at the 8th floor. To our surprise she gave us the room at the construction floor. We woke up to the sound of hammers, drills, etc. We left the room during the day to return at 4pm with the continuation of work, our room was not cleaned. Elevator service was out in the morning as well, and we had to go down 8 floors to the lobby. We are paying 5 star rates, for a 0 star service. Terrible experience

The Four Seasons Hotel Mexico City is nothing short of a bait-and-switch scam. They charge outrageous “luxury” prices while delivering an experience so bad it borders on criminal. I spent five nights trapped in what was essentially a construction war zone. Nonstop drilling, hammering, and pounding that made the entire building shake like an earthquake. The walls rattled, the floors trembled, and sleeping in was absolutely impossible (I’m on holiday for god sakes). This wasn’t “luxury hospitality” — it was five nights of torture. And the worst part? They knew. The staff and management were fully aware of the chaos, yet they happily took my money. When confronted, they acted dismissive, as if guests should just accept paying top dollar to live inside a jackhammer nightmare. The manager Luis Herrera offered no genuine apology, no real solution — just arrogance and indifference. If you’re searching “Four Seasons Mexico City review” or wondering if this property is worth it, let me make it crystal clear: absolutely not. It’s a disgrace to the Four Seasons brand, a rip-off of epic proportions, and an insult to every guest who books expecting peace, comfort, or professionalism. This hotel should be ashamed. It’s not five-star, it’s not luxury — it’s a loud, sleepless, rumbling disaster. I left more exhausted, angry, and disgusted than I’ve ever felt at any hotel anywhere in the world. Never again. Stay anywhere else.

The hotel is centrally located and easily walkable to the chic Polanco, Condessa, and Roma districts. The amenities are extremely comfortable and they expected for season style. The general manager introduced herself to us when we arrived, which was a nice touch. The concierge services were excellent and allowed us to book some wonderful tours in Mexico City. The pool is underwhelming. We traveled during the holidays, and enjoyed the pop-up ice-skating rink, which was maybe the most memorable experience for our children.

Four seasons has consistently superior service. The rooms are a bit outdated but very comfortable, clean and quiet. The hotel is under going renovations so I assume the rooms Will be exceptional once completed. The courtyard and dining options are excellent. Staff truly go above and beyond.

I found the hotel to be quite nice. Especially the gardened center court yard. The service was outstanding. The Mexican staff went above and beyond to make sure my experience was excellent. I was there for business meetings and found the hotel grounds were conducive to meet people and get work done. I had asked the concierge to do something special for Valentine’s Day while I was there as my partner was with me. The concierge executed excellent with punctuality and follow through. I was recommended the hotel as the right place to stay when in Mexico City for business and I must agree. I also think the hotels culture, restaurants and atmosphere make for a wonderful stay for personal reasons as well.
