The St. Regis Mexico City

My experience of this stay was absolutely amazing, particularly because of the generosity and thoughtfulness from the staff at the St Regis! As soon as we arrived, everyone we came across was professional, yet warm and willing to extend their welcome with a little conversation, making you feel that they're happy to have you. Upon learning that we're celebrating a birthday the night before via email from the guest service, the hotel did not hesitate to make sure we are really celebrating. It was a truly pleasant surprise when we saw the gifts they left in our room. There was a nice cake and a written message, but I have never had balloons! Not to mention a bottle of sparkling wine to go with the delicious chocolate cake. Our butler soon arrived with another pour of Cava, and a gift for a complimentary spa service at the upper floor of the hotel. We could not be happier with this level of service, and they did make us feel very special! The location of the hotel is great, right on Paseo de la Reforma, the big treelined avenue, friendly for pedestrians, looks like half street half park. We walked a lot on it, often seeing people taking a break on the bench, or checking out street vendors that set up temporary shops there. For transportation, there is the 7 bus across the street from the hotel, taking you directly to Centro. Or walk 6-8 minutes to the Metro. You can use the same metro card for both, and one metro card can be shared with multiple people, very convenient. If you're there on a Sunday, don't miss out biking on Paseo de la Reforma right in front of the hotel. They close the entire avenue for people every Sunday. It's impressive to see the organization of this even for the mass amount of people having such a great time. Bring your passport to rent a free bike, where you can find rental booths along the avenue. There was one 2 minutes from the hotel. Go early or prepare for the long wait as you would have to wait for others to return the bikes so they become available to you. The condition of the bikes weren't great but good on the organization to provide it for free for everyone to enjoy. There is also HSBC docked bikes all around the city available for you to rent. But they stopped taking foreign credit card for payment on the phone app that you have to download and register. We could not use it. Our reservation was upgraded to a Grand King room. This hotel was build a while ago and the interior design feels mature and traditional. The beddings are comfortable, plenty of seating, everything you need is available. I think best to just let my photos show you. The spa is on the 15th floor. I was greeted with yet another very friendly staff, helping me choose a service. Then another staff took care of me and showed me around the waiting room and the changing room, and brought me a drink of my choice. I absolutely loved my stay at the St. Regis Mexico City. The butlers were amazing — courteous, prompt, and always one step ahead. They even unpacked for me and made sure management knew if I needed anything. The rest of the staff were so kind and helpful. My room was enormous and beautifully done. The hotel’s location was perfect. It was just a short walk to affordably priced restaurants. It was a super experience I’ll remember for a long time.

We were very impressed. Truly what you would expect from a 5-star hotel. Good gym. Small, but nice pool. We did the cooking class and tequila tasting and liked them both.

The staff is what makes this hotel stand head and shoulders above other hotels. As soon as we arrived, the doormen were ready to help us with our luggage and helped guide our entrance to the hotel. The receptionist that checked us in was very kind and helpful in answering our questions One morning during breakfast, we told our waiter we were hoping to visit local markets, but we were a bit unfamiliar with the area. Our waiter, with the help of the concierge, wrote down the name and directions of a local market, where we were able to find everything we were looking for. The doormen, front staff and every other employee we encountered was always kind, courteous and professional. Kudos to the management of this hotel for setting such a high standard of customer service. Because of the exceptional service that we received during our stay, the next time we come back to Mexico City we will definitely return to the St. Regis hotel. Thanks!

From the moment you enter ST REGIS MEX DF- you are taken to another level of service! The concierge went above & beyond for me. My Flight was delayed and a family member was left at DF airport alone. I called and concierge- they handled it all, and sent car service for her. She was cared for at property and even Fed before I even checked in to the hotel. No issues at all. WOW. The Staff go out of their way to make guests feel like Royalty. We had daily coffee (private butler) delivered to our rooms. My butler was awesome and offered tips on getting around. The drinks at the Bar are wonderful and great quality (Best Margarita). The rooms are GORGEOUS and rather large. My family of 4 were very comfortable in our room. Bathroom big and Shower pressure excellent. Concierge Team is (ALL of THEM) are excellent and I tipped them daily for their help. They made daily Dinner reservations for my Family and suggestions for sight seeing. They have the best Attitude and enjoy helping Guests. I HATED to leave the Property when we departed for Puebla. Juan Angel (General Mgr) super professional and runs a great Hotel in DF. I have travelled +40 countries and 1st time staying at a St Regis Property. This Property is perhaps the Best Luxury Hotel I have ever visited globally. Sincere thank you to Juan Angel and the wonderful caring staff @ ST REGIS MEX CITY! I will be back soon . This is the only hotel I will stay when visiting MEX CITY.
