Mr. C Miami - Coconut Grove

Right in the center of Coconut Grove, convenient to everything. Bellini Restaurant is quite good, but not stellar. Housekeeping is the best I’ve ever encountered. However, on a Saturday, at noon, they booked a little-kids birthday party at the pool. What? Adults were trying to relax, enjoy the pool, etc., but we were surrounded by a herd of screaming kids. A big mistake. Again, otherwise, a delightful stay.

I gave it a five because there were no deficiencies, but the travelers need to know this is a boutique hotel that lacked some of the amenities of larger properties, but the highlights are a rooftop pool looking out over the bay. Bellini’s is a top-tier restaurant where you can have breakfast in the morning and look out at the water as well as fine dining in the evening the gym is small, but highly functional and there is a cool Outdoor café patio area upon entry. The rooms are quite small, but well appointed.

I'm definitely adding this to my list of favorite hotels! From the moment I arrived, someone was there to open my car door and help with my bags. Check-in was a breeze, and I was welcomed with a refreshing cold beverage. The front desk staff was incredibly polite and professional - honestly, even the way they handed back my credit card with both hands felt so thoughtful and warm. Now, the room... absolutely luxurious! The Jonathan Adler toiletries and the serene blue decor were perfect. The lights had dimmers, which made it so easy to unwind and read before bed. They also offer a lovely turndown service with water and chocolates - such a nice touch of luxury. The rooftop pool was fantastic with stunning views. My only real gripe was that the poolside service could’ve been more consistent, and I wish the breakfast menu had a bit more variety. But other than that, this place is a solid 5/5!!! :)

Stayed during April 2025 for a weekend vacation in Miami. Booked through AMEX travel. The hotel concierge contacted us prior to our stay to provide information about checkin and requests prior to our stay. I found that very helpful as this was our first stay in the Coconut Grove neighborhood. We checked in late however the staff was very accommodating - checking us immediately, providing information about amenities and upgrading the room and providing dining credits per our AMEX perks. The hotel is located in a bustling area but the interior of the hotel is quiet and we did not hear street traffic. We stayed in a superior deluxe king room - very nicely furnished and clean. The rooms are a bit small yet cozy. The closet was small and could only fit one suitcase; the housekeeping staff provided a luggage rack while servicing the room one day. The bathroom was clean and shower had great temperature and water pressure. Valet was $48 per night and it was easy to pick up and drop off our rental car every day. The cafe restaurant is a serene garden at the lobby level - the fruit salad, croissant sandwiches and drinks we had were great! Brunch at the hotel restaurant Bellini was great - from the service, food, and ambience. It is light filled with classic decor. The staff remembered by birthday and provided excellent service and a delicious dessert with candle and message. The rooftop pool is small but a perfect size for lounging. On Saturday it was packed and most lounge chairs were full - however staff will try to accommodate you. There are cabanas available for rental. On Sunday and Monday the pool was nearly empty - staff is great with taking drink orders and providing complimentary water as soon as you are seated. We also visited the spa BeAtala which is inside of the hotel in a converted suite - it is a little tight but the service and massage was good. Housekeeping service is phenomenal although they missed us one day but as soon as requested they were at our room within 5 minutes. 24 hours room service never had to wait more than 20 minutes for our order. The TV has an issue during our stay and a technician was quickly sent to our room to correct it. Overall great stay and would visit again! Great walkable neighborhood with shops and restaurants (Cocowalk across the street - try Bodega for tacos and a cool speakeasy inside) The hotel is about 20 minutes from hotel (w/o traffic). $$$

Great service, awesome food, best location and always friendly people. The pool is stylish and has a great vibe and view! We will be back!
