This was my second time staying here with friends. the first time in 2015, when 14 of us stayed a week. This time there were 7 of us and we stayed 2 weeks. We plan to return again in 2023 or 2024 ( or both!). The villa is absolutely lovely, inside and out. The location is perfect. We would walk into Sant Albino for cappachino and pasties every morning. The afternoons were spent either relaxing at the villa or touring one of the many nearby hill towns. In the evening, we walked into town for dinner at Tre Stelle or La Bottega Marta— both excellent. Twice w had a chef come to the villa to prepare a delicious dinner for us. There is a small grocery store in town too. We were so pleased to become “instant locals” inn town. Silvia, the owner,is absolutely lovely. She helped arrange our days and found a driver for us this time ( Remigio), who was very professional and fun, as we didn’t want to have to drive this time. She arranged the chef ( Lucretia), who planned and prepared delicious dinners for us ( with plenty of leftovers). Don’t miss taking a tour of Silvia’s winery (Croce de Febo), where we learned about their organic and sustainable production methods and tasted the vino nobile Montepulciano. I even bought a case that she is shipping to the states for me. In short, Podere Monti is perfect. It is authentic and delightful.

Our week at Podere Monti was magical. My family of twelve had plenty of room to relax and to enjoy each other. We loved sitting by the pool with its beautiful views of the countryside. Tuscan Kitchen chefs provided wonderful meals that will live forever in our memories. Thank you, Silvia!
