Everything is very nice, especially we are surprised that the Ryokan serves kids' menu with beautiful dishes. The onsen is superb, and not so crowded. We are served by staff who can speak fluent English and it has no difficulty in communication. The Ryokan is a bit far, but it made the stay very peaceful & quiet.

佳元這一間溫泉旅館的食物是四萬溫泉中很好吃的一間，夜晚和早餐都很豐富又美味，吃得很飽可是又停不了手繼續吃。這次住’桐’房，沖涼和浸溫泉的空間放置左房外，雖然看着的風景很美，但我在入秋的日子都覺得冷，冬天一定不能住這個房型浸溫泉。如果很喜歡吃美食的人應該要住這一間，連本地的伯伯都說佳元的食物超棒，我很認同因為有住四萬的另一間旅館，比較下佳元的食物好吃很多。可是溫泉的泉質感覺還好。

2日間のスキー旅の間に宿泊させていただきました。SNSなどで一切見たことが無かった宿だからこそとても魅力を感じました。お部屋が少ない為、静かでとっても過ごしやすかったです。悩みましたが、客室露天がついている「桐」に宿泊しましたが、想像よりも良すぎてお風呂5回も入りました(笑)絶対にまた来たいね！と帰ってからもずっと2人で口にしています。ただ、夕食付きプランにしなかったので、近くのお店で食べようと思っていたのですがどこも早めに閉まっていて飯難民になってしまったので、そこが難点でした^^;次回利用する際にはご飯しっかり予約して行きたいと思います！！宿自体本当に素敵で最高でした。お世話になりました。

시설과 서비스가 최상이에요. 응대 해 주는 모든 스탭은 모두가 친절 합니다. 특별히 여행객들이 많는 관광 단지에 있지 않고 한적한 산 속에 있어 충분한 여유를 즐길 수 있습니다. 심지어 외국인 조차 볼 수가 없습니다. 룸에 개인 온천과 대욕장을 따로 즐길 수 있어서 좋았습니다. 조식으로 나온 음식도 다양해서 일본의 식문화를 즐길 수 있었습니다. 드라이어가 다이슨입니다

Fantastic experience! To spend a night in a rustic (albeit with some medernities like AC, fridge and so on) is a must when in Japan. The stay in Yoshimoto was a very pleasurable example of such a place. The room we stayed in was spacious and there was a wide selection of spirits and craft beer available for roomservice. They have a public onsen for each gender and a gender mixed that you can have for yourself (30min max). The former are split into both inside/outside, and the gender mixed is inside. We were here in late june, and while it was around 27c outside, it was still very nice to relax in the extremely hot onsen water. The highlight of the stay is the kaiseki dinner though. Chef Nakada Tetuyuki is a master at his craft! The staff is also very nice and accommodating. In summary, a very pleasurable stay!

Without question the highlight of our 2 week trip to Japan. We were lucky to catch the first snow of the season in mid December and the views were unbelievable. Service, cleanliness, and qualify of the meals were all top notch. All things considered, my partner ranked dinner here above a 2 Michelin star course we did in Tokyo. Shima onsen Yoshimoto is such a unique experience that it's in a league of its own from our other activities in Japan. We will definitely cherish this memory. An icing on the cake, they also granted my special request for a birthday cake wonderfully. In terms of transportation, we took the limited-express train from Tokyo, which was straightforward and can be reserved ahead of time online. Would absolutely recommend!
