Harbor side is an excellent resort. We have been going since about 2004. Eating out can be a bit costly but there is a new market within a short walk.

We stayed at Harbourside Resort, Paradise Island, for a week. We were in a one bedroom apartment and to our surprise it was so much bigger than what we were expecting. It had everything we could need, including a washing machine and tumble dryer, two large TV screens and the apartment sleeps 4 if needed. We were greeted with a smile and they explained everything to us about the resort. They also explained we were allowed to use all the facilities in the Coral and Royal Atlantis hotels. There is a free bus what takes you to each of the resorts, which is quite useful if you struggled with walking, or it’s just small walk through the Marina Village which has shops and restaurants on the way. There are a selection of restaurants and snack bars in easy walking distance. The resort only has a poolside bar which closes at 3 pm each day. Just over the road there is a small supermarket to get essentials and a liquor store, do be prepared to pay higher prices, a case of beer cost £52.80 - the average beer costs, when you’re out, is $9 to $10 which is the small 330ml size. All staff greeted us with a smile and a good morning and were always polite they made you feel very welcome, genuinely. The Wi-Fi is free in the reception area but if you want it in your room you have to pay $25 a day. Would definitely recommend this resort but be prepared to pay much higher prices and the tip is automatically added to the bill.

No free WiFi in rooms even though guests on other 4 properties enjoyed free WiFi.
Limited dining options with Sunset Point prices being more than other parts of the resort with same options

Overall layout of hotel is clean and nice

So many issues and not accommodating. Got attitudes for some staff. Yet others were cool. Buses were good. Got shafted out of $250 and was told ******* would refund me (yet the lady at the desk charged me ). Every time you bought something it seemed like it was a different price or they just ripped you off.

We had a ceiling leak and sewage water was coming down. The staff and the manager were very rude and not helpful at all. We had water damage from the leak to our clothes and luggage, and we never get any compensation. We filed a security report, but nothing happened.

The room was not what I expected and left me feeling disappointed. The bathroom, particularly the tub, didn’t appear to be properly cleaned. The carpet looked worn and could really use a deep shampoo. There was also a strange odor in the room that I couldn’t quite identify, which made things uncomfortable. Overall, I think more attention needs to be given to cleanliness and upkeep.

Great spot for a medium family, with reasonable walking access to the waterparks and beach. Rooms were a little bit musty, and the A/C could not cool the rooms below 76F, but all in all it was a great time.
