Le Pavillon, New Orleans, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Cleanliness: The hotel is consistently described as clean and well-maintained. Many reviewers highlight the cleanliness of both the rooms and common areas, making guests feel comfortable and welcome during their stay.

I have 3 gripes; no free parking, only one operable elevator, had to pay an unexpected Preservation Fee of $15.00, State Tax of $1.42, City Tax of .75 and CVB Assessment .26 a total of $17.43.

I almost didn’t write this but we must give credit where it’s due. We came here to celebrate my sister’s 60th birthday. She wanted to be in a beautiful environment and this place didn’t disappoint, it’s grand but made us feel welcomed. It started out stressful after fifteen hours of traveling overseas , as we found when we arrived they didn’t have our booking on the system because British airways had not given them our details. But the lovely lady on reception organised a room for us and had everything sorted for us by the morning. The staff are lovely and very attentive namely Floyd, Chris, Irash, Paula and Tiffany, A really professional team. The only unpleasant experience we had was with the one rotten apple in the bunch Jessica in the dining hall at breakfast who we found to be very rude indeed, and in our opinion needs further training on how to deal with the public . We spoke with the food and beverage manager regarding our experience with her and he resolved the issue very promptly The facilities at the hotel are good a well stocked bar good food and our room was beautiful and spacious, they have a nice gym in the basement. They put on peanuts butter and jelly on a Friday evening along with a Dj spinning fab grooves. We loved the quirky but elegant feel of the hotel and would stay again if or when we return to New Orleans which is a lovely city with some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Would have been five stars but for our experience in the dining hall at breakfast.
