We loved this hotel! Very clean, quiet, and the location is fantastic. I researched a great deal on hotels in this area - this one checked all the boxes! Being in NOLA, I wanted a hotel that was a chain hotel, but rather unique and had some history. We loved the exposed bricks and beams. Location couldn't be beat -- super close to river walk, Jackson Square, plenty of shopping and restaurants, but slightly away from the busier areas of the French quarter and canal street. I knew the train goes by and read about the noise in other reviews, however we only heard it 1 night out of the 3 nights we were here. Breakfast was adequate. Parking is ample but costs $66/day. We used the street car and bicycle carts to get around, and everything is walkable. We would DEFINITELY stay here again!!

Good location at edge of French Quarter, hotel was spotless and pleasant. Internet was down for a day and that was of consequence because I was on a work trip and got kicked out of meetings and time-sensitive tasks. It was extremely noisy (upstairs felt like it was crashing down, so loud and out of control). Windows are thin and could hear loud base from outside for hours.

The hotel is very nice: understated and modern in a perfect central location. The breakfast was not fancy but adequate with good product. The staff was friendly. We had two issues first the barn door to the bathroom broke twice and would not close: considering that the rooms are very small this was not good for an older couple. Secondly you only get the room cleaned if you asked and we didn't get it cleaned till our third request. Also, strangely, no matter what outlets we tried phones and devices charged extremely slowly. All and all though the hotel is good for its price point

Cute boutique hotel just steps from Canal & Bourbon Streets. Very clean and accommodating and the staff was always pleasant.

Good location, clean rooms, but I was disappointed with the breakfast: it was poor and there was too little staff managing it. We had to wait a long time for the coffee and food to be restocked. One morning it even started after 8 a.m., although when we arrived we had been told that breakfast would start at 7:30.

Second impressions are somewhat better than the first. We rather like boutique hotels, the definition of which is a bit fuzzy. Still, the desire to avoid the big chains and settle in to a hotel with some character and charm has risks and rewards. No question a lot of patience, passion ans style were invested (and money) in restoring an old warehouse on the fringe of the French Quarter and turning it into an attractive small hotel. Sadly, it seems they then turned it over to the accountants to run. We arrived on a Saturday night three hours late for a 5 night stay. Having missed linch and dinner thanks to the air traffic fallout from the government shutdown, the welcome was underwhelming. The hotel door was locked with a sign you have to use your key card to enter. No one was at the front desk which we could see through the glass door. Desperate for a solution, I did see a lady wearing a Security band on her arm. She was sitting in the bar. I got her attention by scrapping a ring on the door.. She gott us in, and we proceeded to the empty desk. Eventually, the night clerk showed up and checked us in. The public rooms and our hotel room are attractive. The king bed was comfortable. The shower area generous, toiletries and towels of superior quality. We won't save the planey by reusing towels, but are amenable to their not making the bed everyday. But having to go to the front desk every morning to ask for towels and the assortment never being complete is annoying. Whenever I see the term "continental breakfast" alarm bells go off. Which continent? American hotels use the term as a euphemism for industrial muffins, black water coffee and butter and synthetic cream cheese in miscroscopic plastic containers. If I wanted catering from SYSCO, I would go to a Hampton Inn. Snippets of melon and strawberries with no appreciation of whether they are ripe or not, prepackaged pancackes and waffles with artificial syrup might be expected at 40,000 feet (or in space), but not at this price point. The ninth versio of Danone yogurt is not impressive. The hotel staff are pleasant enough if a bit detached. They are a skeleton crew and I suspect don;t see themselves as hoteliers. There is no manager in sight. "Ivy", their virtual assistant sends texts. She should be relegated to virtual guests, not real ones. The hotel location is handy. The rooms quiet and comfortable. But no one will ever know whether we have been here or care if we return. We won't.

Outstanding quiet location only one minute outside all the hustle and bustle, with great boutique feel, and proximity to everything that matters. A short stroll to all the conference centres.

There is a lot to improve here. The receptionist (young girl) was not welcoming while busy with her private phone. Not one smile or good morning during whole stay. No information, we had to ask about everything. Breakfast was kaos and poor. This was the poorest breakfast during out trip visiting 6 different hotels and this was by far the priciest. Guy in breakfast unfriendly and in a very bad mood. Rooms supersmall, cleaning only upon request. Very overpriced hotel. You only stay here for the lookstion. Will not come again and will not recommend.

My wife and I stayed for one night for our anniversary. It is a good location in the French Quarter, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, the facilities are very clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast is a bonus. It was a great experience, and we will definitely stay again in the future. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer.
