One11 Hotel

There is a lot to improve here. The receptionist (young girl) was not welcoming while busy with her private phone. Not one smile or good morning during whole stay. No information, we had to ask about everything. Breakfast was kaos and poor. This was the poorest breakfast during out trip visiting 6 different hotels and this was by far the priciest. Guy in breakfast unfriendly and in a very bad mood. Rooms supersmall, cleaning only upon request. Very overpriced hotel. You only stay here for the lookstion. Will not come again and will not recommend.

My wife and I stayed for one night for our anniversary. It is a good location in the French Quarter, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, the facilities are very clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast is a bonus. It was a great experience, and we will definitely stay again in the future. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer.

The esthetic is beautiful! Customer service was great. I had a slight issue with my reservation and Steven the manager handled it wonderfully. Location, you can't beat. It is not too far from the French quarter or Bourbon street. Breakfast is on the simple side, but it's something. There is a beautiful restaurant and bar. We didn't get a chance to try either unfortunately. The room is a standard size, we were very comfortable. Our fridge didn't work , but they brought in another right away. House cleaning is offered daily, but you have to tell them by 10am. Overall the hotel is beautiful and would stay here again. The atmosphere is on the quiet side, so if you're looking for more of a social atmosphere this isn't it.

while a relatively decent hotel, staff wasn't overly helpful and manger didn't respond to 3 phone calls...couldn't sleep for 2 nights straight due to unbearable train noise and very loud horns throughout the night..you would think they would give you heads up or put thicker windows

This is actually a 5 star review of the actual hotel, but here is a but (see later)! It is quirky, boutiquey and brilliantly positioned for access to all that NOLA offers. Great front of house staff, but they could improve their pre-stay communication, but having said that I was contacted by the Hotel manager to apologise for the poor communication, so well done all round. Rooms are well appointed, roomy with super comfy beds. Good bathroom amenities. There is a small pool with loungers and a rooftop terrace for relaxing on. Rare in an US Hotel, the hotel provides a daily continental breakfast that is included in the room price with fresh fruit, yoghurts, pastries, etc. and this was a nice start to the day before stepping out to explore the city. There is a happy hour 4 - 6pm in the bar and the restaurant/bar Batture serves light plates in the evening. The French Quarter, Riverbank and Streetcars are all on the doorstep, but the hotel is thankfully far enough away from the bacchanalian madness of Bourbon Street. The hotel would also be very convenient for the Conference Center. But...The elephant in the room, though, is the proximity of the hotel to the main rail line supplying the port of New Orleans. As the trains approach the numerous train crossings they blow their horns incessantly, at any hour of the day and night. This is really, really annoying, and on one night they were passing almost hourly, not exactly conducive for a good night's sleep. Please be aware of this if you are a light sleeper. There are ear plugs available in the drawer in the bedroom, a nice touch for something that is outside the hotel's control. Having said all of this I would still come back again and stay at One11 Hotel again when I'm in NOLA.

My wife and I and two dogs had a wonderful stay at the ONE11 Hotel! The location couldn’t be better — it’s within easy walking distance to all the best parts of downtown New Orleans and just steps from the streetcar, making it super convenient to explore the city. One of the biggest pluses for us was that the hotel is pet-friendly, which made traveling with our dogs a breeze. The staff was welcoming and accommodating, and it really felt like they go out of their way to make pets feel comfortable. I highly recommend booking one of their suites — they’re spacious, beautifully designed, and perfect for relaxing after a day out in the city. Overall, a fantastic experience in an unbeatable location. I’ll definitely stay here again!
