If you are wanting to stay in Manhattan the Refinery Hotel is the perfect location. 3 minutes walk to Time Square, 5 minutes walk to the Broadway Theatres, 3 minutes walk to Bryant Park, 5 minutes walk to the Empire State Building, 20 minutes to central Park and 3 minutes to a subway station that will take you anywhere else you want to go. The staff are consumate professionals, especially the doorman who are always ready to provide advise and Lauren the reservations manager. The room with the Empire State Building view was roomy and facing the less busy 38th Street was much quieter. NYC is eye waveringly expensive, but the Refinery Hotel offers a lot of pluses that other Hotels charge more for.

Check in was great - greeted with a glass of wine and some snacks. Beautiful view from the rooftop, fun vibe and great drinks! Rooms are small, but expected that for NY. (King studio). Fabulous location near Bryant Park We had a disturbance around 4 am (a domestic I believe) which resulted in a guest being removed by NYPD. Situation was handled well by hotel staff and not a reflextion of the hotel at all. Would stay here again! Not the cheapest hotel you can find for sure, but in my opinion it is worth the price!

Have stayed several times over the years in this cared-for spot. Quiet even though centrally located. The scent throughout is lovely, the lobby bar scene lively, the staff goes out of way to make the stay special. Recommend.

Bryan and Alejandro at the front desk were great! So nice and helped us out whenever needed :) We’ve stayed here multiple times and love coming back! Can’t recommend enough :)

I have stayed at the Refinery a few times. And I keep coming back for a number of reasons. Excellent location, amazing service, love the rooms - they are roomy well appointed and have excellent in room complimentary coffee. All in all, you can't go wrong!
