Positives - location! Spacious room for NYC I joined my husband on a business trip with our 1 year old daughter. We stayed in room 1708 for 10 nights. This room was located on the top floor and was a king studio room. For NYC it was very spacious. We had our daughter’s travel cot and pram in the room. We were still able to move around. The location of this hotel was amazing. My husband was able to get to all of his business meetings within a 30min walk and I was able to explore a different part of the city daily on foot. I didn’t have to worry about food as there were plenty of places to eat within 5min walk to meet all budgets. Dunkin, Starbucks, Los Tacos, Pret, Pershing Square, Tartinery Cafe, Upside pizza etc. Cons - dirty room, some staff helpful others were not, no breakfast included On arrival I was a dissatisfied with the cleanliness of this room. It looked tidy but not clean. There was dust on the desk and bedside tables. Smears on the glasses, mirrors and windows. I always clean our hotel rooms on arrival to make them extra safe for my daughter however it just left a bad vibe. The worst thing was upon checking out, I moved the bedside tables to make sure nothing was left behind and found a used syringe. Thank god my daughter didn’t find it during our stay. Things like this just scream not cleaned well enough!
