We loved our stay at The Chateau de Noizay! The pool and gardens are amazing and we spent some nice time reading in the garden at the end of the day. We stayed in the Castelnau Room which was perfect. Castelnau is a huge room with a comfortable bed, plenty of seating and a nice desk, walk-in closet and a spacious bathroom with a bathtub, a large sink with plenty of space for all our toiletries, a nice shower, plenty of natural light and a separate toilet. The château has a mix of period pieces and gorgeous fabrics and has been decorated to feel like one is staying in a château. The heating and air-conditioning were effective and worked well. Because the temperature difference during our stay went from 84 degrees to 58, we tested both! We appreciated the warm and friendly staff, and ate at the restaurant twice, which was excellent and an amazing value for money. The menu for guests is 44 euros which we found to be the ‘average’ cost of eating at most restaurants in the area. It is a gorgeous dining room serving delicious food…so convenient after a long day of visiting wineries and châteaux! Note, the location is IDEAL to visit the châteaux and wineries on the east side of Tours and is off the main road that can take you either east or west. You are 15 minutes from Amboise, 8 minutes from Vouvray and about 30 minutes from Tours. GREAT LOCATION!

Beautiful building and well appointed . Friendly helpful staff who spoke English. Spacious private parking. Wonderful swimming pool. The restaurant served absolutely delicious food. It is not a place for those who cannot ascend stairs, but for us it was perfect and we will come back one day.

All good. Nicely manicured grounds, very friendly and helpful staff, and nice restaurant and breakfast service. We had a room in one of the outbuildings, and it was quite large, with a spacious bathroom. Would book again without hesitation.

Excellent staff and service - allowed slightly earlier check in which was welcome after about 40 hours of flights and travel. Perfectly comfortable beds and very quiet enabled very quick recovery from jet lag. Terrific dinner and wine list seems even better than previous. Breakfast perfect and included. Terrific price and just a perfect stay being looked after by very nice and kind staff and management. Can’t wait to come back again and spend longer next time.

Quirky, old school, friendly staff, we were the only ones in the restaurant but still felt relaxed and cosy. Nothing too much trouble. Room better than the photos on Booking. Elegant. Perhaps a bit faded but makes a change from all the uber cool places.

Incredible château that looks even better in real life than the photos. Large room and bathroom with very comfortable bed. Each room has different colour theme named after significant French women. The pool was incredible and a bonus necessityfor this time of year. Restaurant was also fantastic. Great food for dinner and breakfast. Loved it!

A truly magic and beautiful place. We had a pretty room with views on the garden. The restaurant is cosy and the food is very good. The service is kind and professional. The hotel is dog friendly. There is no elevator - so you need to climb up some stairs to get to your room - but staff is helpful with luggage.
