I am currently staying in the hotel on business and this hotel is not four star more a five! The staff in the restaurant and bar were exceptional , attentive and caring and very professional - the dinner ( monkfish followed by lemon pousset )was outstanding! It was like a top class restaurant. Comfortable beds in the rooms and and beautiful surroundings - the only suggestion would be a coffee machine for the room as I like coffee first thing. I will definitely be back!

Wonderful staying They give the best to care about you. Suprr high quality beds and pillows which make your state feels like home. Everything you need is in the room, good toiletries, wide rooms so comfty, temperature perfect and ajustable. Breakfast is really well service and various. Restaurant we did not try as we ate outside. We were on holidays to visit Hiclere Castle from Downtown Abbey and we didn't expect so much indulgence as we got. Is much better than other 4 stars hotels and facilities are huge! Very lovely furniture, bar and gardens. Definitely we will be back.

We stayed for one night as part of our anniversary weekend, we were given a lovely room in the courtyard, spiral stairs led up to the bedroom and bathroom which were amazing. The grounds were stunning although the weather was mixed so we didn’t investigate. There were weddings happening but it didn’t make the hotel too busy and we enjoyed the fireworks later on. We went to the Bombay Sapphire tour as it’s only 4 miles away (£22 each way in taxi which was expensive) but worth a visit. We had to pay extra for breakfast which was very tasty. Our only issue which spoilt our stay was no hot water in the morning which I find upsetting for this calibre of hotel and when we reported it on check out it was just shrugged off with a “we had issues but thought we had fixed it” which is not really acceptable, we left feeling very disappointed in this after being impressed with everything else, a cold shower is not the best start to the day.

Lovely country manor hotel set in fantastic grounds with spacious rooms. All of the staff were excellent but in particular Joel, a restaurant manager, was superb and sorted out a misunderstanding about my wife’s gluten free diet without fuss. We could only stayed one night but if we’re ever in the area again we’d definitely book here. Thoroughly recommended.

So I took my elderly mum for a cup of tea as she lives in the nearby care home. I asked the gentleman at the bar if he could sort us some scones out as we didn’t want afternoon tea. He asked the chef and they had enough so we had tea coffe and scones. I would like to thank Charlie , Jamie -Lee & driss for their help in making my mum so happy. Your attitudes to making us happy went far beyond. Thank you all so much.

Spent 3 nights here and it was very relaxing. The staff were excellent and really helpful. Room was lovely with great views of the grounds I can also recommend the Glasshouse Restaurant. Waiting staff were all very attentive and the food was excellent. Would definitely return.

My wife and I went for a long weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I can only say that the stay was lovely. Smiling and helpful staff, from the receptionists to the waiting staff, and heads of service. Room was lovely and clean. All mod cons available and some nice touches left by the staff to celebrate our anniversary. We dined at the hotel restaurant one evening. The food was superb. Breakfast was full English or continental and plenty of it. The grounds were extensive and beautifully kept - you could walk for hours and experience the outdoors. Plenty of parking available. We stayed in the courtyard to the side of the main building. Lots of places to visit close by, Hampshire being a beautiful and varied place to visit, which includes Milestones (the living museum) and historical sites/local villages. Overall a wonderful long weekend made better by the lovely Oakley Hall Hotel. I would most definitely stay there again.
