What a truly magical and exceptional property that genuinely deserves to call itself 5 star! A former hunting lodge for the wealthy, this magnificent place has been transformed into a luxury resort complete with Clarins spa and gourmet restaurant. The staff are wonderful and the rooms beyond compare. If ever you're in the Loire valley and want an idyllic place to rest, romance or play - this is it!

A wonderful place. We stayed here for two nights while touring the Loire Valley. Wish we had chosen to stay longer. The setting is beautiful and serene. Idyllic, even. The room was lovely. Large, clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The grounds were marvelous. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. We ate at the bistro in the evening. It was top-notch. The location is excellent - a short drive to places like Amboise and Chaumount-sur-Loire. It is an ideal base for Loire Valley Chateau touring. Overall, great value as well. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We stayed at this wonderful hotel for three nights. We stayed in the main building in a beautiful yet very modern and functional room. Beware: It was on the second floor, with a narrow spiral staircase and no elevator. But no problem: The reception staff are extremely helpful, with a special mention to Marceau. He was always in a good mood and helped with all our questions and requests. We had dinner in the bistro all three evenings. On Monday and Tuesday it was a fantastic experience, with great food and excellent service. On the third day, a different, much smaller team was in charge; there's still a lot of room for improvement in service here. Also worth mentioning is the entire complex with large meadows, a pond with swans, plenty of outside seatings, and a huge forest area. Overall, a fantastic stay.

Les Hauts de Loire a stunning property that made for a wonderful holiday. We spent 3 nights at the hotel and from the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the front desk as well as Pascal- who showed us to our room and supported our stay throughout our time there. The front desk staff was helpful prior to our stay with recommendations and reservations and continued to assist us during our stay. Breakfast was the best we had during our 3 weeks in France and the staff in the mornings were cheerful and professional. We also dined at the Bistrot- and again, our waiter was friendly and also made recommendations for us in the area. The spa is small- but I enjoyed a great massage on a rainy day! Lastly- the simple beauty of this property makes it a very special place and distinguished itself from other properties we visited. A special thanks to Pascal (he makes a great martini!) and to the front desk team for being so warm and attentive. I highly recommend this property for anyone visiting the Loire Valley.

Our bucket-list vacation to the Loire valley was even more special with our stay at Les Hauts De Loire. My husband and I stayed in a Prestige Suite in the carriage house. The room was extremely comfortable, luxurious, and large, with a seating area, desk, and a wonderful balcony large enough for a table and two chairs. We spent every evening on our balcony enjoying the picturesque views of the French countryside along with a glass of fabulous French wine. Our bathroom was huge with separate tub, shower, and toilet areas as well as a double sink vanity and heated towel rack. Our room and the hotel were immaculately clean. All hotel staff were friendly and welcoming and very accommodating to any of our requests. The hotel’s grounds are lovely, quiet, and peaceful with many paths through the woods to explore on foot or on a bike, which we quite enjoyed. The breakfast buffet was excellent with an abundance of delectable food items. We enjoyed our daily breakfast in beautiful rooms with flower arrangements, lovely place settings and views of the grounds. The hotel was the perfect location for visiting the amazing châteaux, gardens, and wineries in the eastern Loire valley. It was wonderful to relax in this serene hotel at the end of each sightseeing day. My only suggestion would be for the hotel to get better bikes and house them inside, so they are not so rough to ride. Other than that, our entire stay was absolute perfection, and I would highly recommend this hotel.
