This was our 7th trip in a row to Aruba. Overall, it was great as usual. My wife and I love the resort, pool, beach etc which are just fabulous. We love Agustin and the excellent service at Mercat. (One of our favorite things is knowing and talking to Agustin over the years. We take a photo each year and have kept them all.) Also give a shout to Ivan and Pope at Mercat... The service at the Stellaris is always great and the workers are very friendly. Love going to the fitness center in the morning. Enma does a fantastic job keeping that place running. Wave's bar/grille serves the best fish tacos for lunch. We will be back for trip #8 next year. Thank You Brian and Jennifer from Pittsburgh PA.

The hotel renovation is really nice. They updated the rooms with nice calm tones. The only thing I do t quite understand is there are no doors or shower curtains on the shower. Everytime you take a shower the floor gets extremely wet, there is no way to prevent this. Not having a door also let's all the steam escape as a result showering gets cold. Also no clock or radio in the room.

Despite the hotel currently undergoing renovations, the entire staff, from Ronnie greeting you upon arrival, Emily at front desk, Rafaela in reservations, Hemel at the beach hut, Aurelia, Waves Beach bar, Kristina, Waves Beach bar, a newly renovated room bright & welcoming, made for a very memorable anniversary celebration! Thank you so much!

We arrived at the Marriott and immediately received a welcome drink. I went to the desk with my voucher for a handicapped room with two queen beds and a garden view. My partner has a problem with his leg and can't get into a tub. I was informed that the handicapped rooms were filled, and nothing was guaranteed. This was never explained when I booked with my travel agent. They offered me a walk in shower with a king bed and a roll in cot. This was not a solution to me. Then after a discussion in the office she offered a room overlooking the adult pool with two beds and walk in shower. Since it was a lower class we received a resort credit. While we waited for our room to be cleaned we went to Waves for lunch. We were greeted by Lisette who remembered us from the past two years. Good food and service. When our room was ready, we realized it overlooked the roof of the walkway to the adult pool. It did turn out to be a quiet location so we settled in. The next morning we went down for breakfast and were greeted by Missy, the resort cat. She is so special. The hostess, Vangie, gave us a warm welcome. It's amazing how the staff remembers you from year to year. She just started off our day with a smile. Our first waiter was Pope Francis. He blessed us and the weather was sunny after that. We also had Jose , Maybelline and Anna Lucia. We kept asking for our favorite, Elizabeth and finally she was working in the morning. We took a picture with her and ended our vacation. Hopefully we can solve the reservation problem and go back next year.

Stellaris is our go to favorite hotel on our go to favorite Island, Aruba. They make it feel like our second home. Our waiter, Gabriel, out on the beach was top notch. He serves with timely and personal excellence. We'll look for him when we go back!

We just left Aruba Saturday after spending eight nights at this Marriott. This review will be detailed, but I cannot say enough good things about our experience - staff, cleanliness, beautiful grounds, operation of hotel, drinks, and food. I’ll start with the minimal cons: The mattresses are extremely firm. This may be a complete personal preference, but both my adult sister and I actually found them painful. To the point that our backs hurt when we woke up and we had to rotate sleeping positions throughout the night because our hips hurt. I’ve experienced this before at another resort when traveling. That said, we asked the front desk for mattress toppers, and they had two people up there with two mattress toppers in less than 15 minutes to put them on the beds. Honestly, they didn’t really help but the hotel definitely made the effort. I never went back and told them there were still firmness issues so that is on me. Also… I’m not a big fan of their down pillows. They’re just so flat once you have put your head on them for five minutes. My sister swapped him out for foam and she said they were much more comfortable. The other con is what they use as their shower door/curtain. It’s literally a piece of glass that is approximately half the width of the shower. We tried very hard, but literally the water was always on the floor outside the shower and the mats were soaking wet. I’m honestly not sure how this isn’t a bigger problem and they don’t deal with a lot of water damage. Annoying, but not a dealbreaker as a guest. OK, now the pros: We booked our trip through Costco, which also included some additional benefits, and I am a Bonvoy member. I thought the resort would be nice, but it far exceeded our expectations. I would 100% stay here again when I come back to Aruba. The location is great on Palm Beach because you can walk everywhere. But what really made the experience special was the staff. They were incredible! Every person we encountered was friendly and helpful. Varun checked us in upon arrival and he was very thorough with all of the resort amenities, how out Costco benefits would apply, made great restaurant recommendations and he was just top notch all around! And when we came back throughout our stay with questions… He was always very thorough in answering them. I would 100% want this guy representing my business. Junaidy also helped us a couple times and she was absolutely lovely as well! Had drinks at the lobby bar a couple evenings… And that staff was incredible as well! The bar manager explained their unique sushi on our first night… Which we could not wait to try! The drinks were amazing (hibiscus margarita and regular margaritas to name a couple) and we had sushi one night at the lobby bar which is probably the best sushi I’ve had in a really long time. Plus, they have a nice festive vibe in the lobby in the evenings so loved all of that. We did spend most nights out at more local restaurants, which was easy because we co

We stayed for 3 nights for a girl’s weekend- booked three rooms. The people that work there are extremely unfriendly (and at times rude). The place is going through a renovation- I had a renovated room and it was lovely. My friends had a non-renovated room and it was depressing. The room is the only positive thing I have to say about this place. We are all Gold or Platinum elite and will never return. Hyatt is my favorite comparable place on the island and I cannot recommend it enough. St Regis or Ritz for luxury.

We stayed at the Marriott Stellaris in Aruba this past September for my friend’s 60th birthday trip, and it was such a fantastic getaway! There were four of us, and we all agreed the resort was beautiful, clean, and in the perfect location. It’s far enough from the busier part of Palm Beach that it feels peaceful and private, but still close enough to walk or grab a quick cab to shops and restaurants. (Best martinis on the island are an easy walk to Damy & Kelly at Moomba!) The beach was gorgeous — plenty of chairs and palapas every day, soft sand, and the water was warm and crystal clear with no seaweed or debris at all. The resort offers rafts, kayaks, and paddleboards, which was such a nice perk. We loved the beachside drink service (happy hour deals were great!) and wish I could remember the name of our waitress because she was amazing. Also, a special mention to Daniella at the gelato shop in the lobby — she was so sweet and friendly every time we stopped by. Before our trip, we were a little nervous after reading some reviews about construction, but honestly, it was a non-issue. Other than the pool bar being closed, it didn’t bother us one bit. We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms, which was bright, clean, and very comfortable. If I had to give one small critique, it would be that the staff overall didn’t feel as warm or friendly as we experienced elsewhere on the island. No one was rude, just not as outgoing — which stood out a bit because Aruba really does live up to its “One Happy Island” reputation. But it didn’t take away from our experience. We had such a fun trip and would absolutely come back to the Marriott Stellaris. Between the beach, location, and amenities, it’s a great choice for a fun and relaxing Aruba vacation!
