A recently refurbished hotel with a new extension. Beautiful reception and bar area. We have stayed here before but this time the rooms were smaller. Not sure if the rooms were divided during the renovation. Great addition of an outdoor pool which we used daily. Breakfast was good with a good selection to suit most people. The bar service was a little slow but the drinks were very good. The downside to this hotel is the increase in cost. This is not great value for Bulgaria. We had better accommodation for less in the capital Sofia. Prices have increased drastically over the past few years. The staff are also very miserable and appear unfriendly which doesn’t give a great impression. There are other hotels available much cheaper but maybe the facilities aren’t as good.

A very good hotel for a few days of rest and relaxation. The rooms are big, clean, new, very well done. Beds and beds are comfortable. The outdoor pool is clean, very nice with warm water. The sunbeds are comfortable, and the umbrellas are good. The staff is friendly. The cons - breakfast and dinner do not correspond to 4 stars. The quality is not good. I recommend eating outside the hotel. Another big minus - there is absolutely nothing else in the bathroom except liquid soap and shower gel. They are so diluted with water that it is difficult to take a bath. Better bring soap. Overall the hotel is very good. Recommend it

The only positive about this hotel is location. It's right at the main square of town. The rest... You are entering hotel from communist era. Rooms are old. Bathroom was dirty, bathrobe was worn out. Swimming pool was crowded with locals. Food was made with cheap products, and taste as rubber. Staff is OK but you can see it's not trained. Don't waste your money.

Poor facilities, especially the hotel rooms and some common spaces: even after changing the room cause the tiles in the first one were dirty and the toilet was broken, the second wasn’t much better. The breakfast was really not at a 4 stars hotel level. It was cheap and not fresh.

The staff was not polite. They gave us the wrong room. Later they changed it to a bigger one. The furniture is old and battered. TV could not be watched because the remote control had no working batteries. The shower cabin is too small. At the pool outside you have pull the umbrella on your own. The outdoor pool is too cold even for summer and the local heat. The small indoor pool is too hot, you might even get sick. The jacuzzi was not working and the kneipp path was dry. The Dinner was nice. There weren’t any fruits for breakfast. There is no porter in the hotel, you have to carry your own luggage. From 00:00 to 06:00 the front door is locked and if a person wants to leave he has to go through the garage. Bed linen and towels were old. I visited the hotel years ago and it was wonderful. Unfortunately, I do not share this opinion now. It is definitely not a hotel for BGN 200 per night. The hotel requires you to deposit half of the amount of your stay into their account.

Do not believe the things you see and read on their website. The pool is cold - 27deg. It is cold 🙂 n the SPA area. Half of the things are not working. Rooms - worn out furniture, bathtubs was falling apart. Food - bad and poor. The prices are for a nice SPA hotel but you get nothing like that. Do not go there. You will feel deceived and robbed.

Okay, the good things first - staff is friendly, the location is great, and its restaurant food is alright. What we didn’t like: 1. The smell. Upon entering the hotel lobby a strong mould smell hit us, which, unfortunately, was present in the rooms and everywhere we went. 2. The design. Very old as if if time had stopped around 1989. 3. The room. Tiny, claustrophobic, they joined two beds (we’re a couple) for us and the bathroom didn’t look very clean. 4. The spa. It’s got 5 small cabins, a swimming pool and a tiny jacuzzi. Everything looks old. The swimming pool was busy with locals and a kids swimming team was having a practice. We wouldn’t dare going into the jacuzzi since several dads with kids were in there. 5. The cost. Not worth it. It cost us 151BGN (€75) per night. Coming from western standards, this doesn’t sound too bad, but…try it at your own peril and then let me know if you felt like it was worth more than €10 per night.
