Xingshengjiu Courtyard Hotel

Hotel is very nicely build. It is Very near the main tourist street. 2 way complementary transfer to pingyaogucheng HSR station is provided. The front end staff is very nice and attend to our needs attentively. Very nice of them to upgrade our room for free.

Excellent stay in Pingyao at a wonderful hotel. Beautiful building perfectly located in the Ancient City -- close to the main streets, but much quieter. The staff were extremely helpful and provided pickup and drop off at the Pingyao Gucheng high-speed train station. The room was clean and modern, with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was great and had both Chinese and Western options. Definitely will return here for my next visit to Pingyao.

The rating is inflated for this hotel. In fact, the hotel is beautiful, centrally located within the historic centre, and the staff are efficient, friendly and available. They were kind enough to pick us up and take us to the railway station. The rooms are heated and have good bathrooms. If they could improve, they could have had a safe in the room for us to keep our valuables, and they could have had two lamps or individual, occasional light and not just general light. No western or continental breakfast, only local. They could have a simple menu of coffee, milk, toast, butter and scrambled eggs. The rooms could do with two bags of tea or coffee powder. Then the hotel's rating would be fair.

Great hotel! Everything is brand new, Staff were super friendly, clean rooms, pretty place and rides from and off to the train station were convenient. They provided Chinese style breakfast that we enjoyed. Really near the shopping area. Rooms were cozy. We would only suggest having a place where to put luggage inside the room. Would highly recommend!

This hotel is simply excellent. The room was beautiful, the staff super nice, welcoming and forthcoming. The courtyard is beautiful. The position is excellent, as it is near the heart of the ancient town but far enough to let us enjoy some quiet. The breakfast, mainly Chinese style, is delicious. Highly recommended, I will definitely return if I ever come back visiting Ping Yao.
