My wife and I recently spent three nights at Boringdon and I almost can’t fault it, our room was lovely and comfy, the spa and assorted services (massage, gym) was just what the Dr. ordered. Food from breakfast thru to our one Michelin stared dinners were amazing. The one fault? The lift was broken making the steam rooms even better after a three flight climb. We will be back but we will be checking on the lift before we book. 😂

We stayed here for 3 nights to visit friends in the area. Boringdon is building with over a thousand year old history, its restoration and adaptation to its modern use as a hotel & spa has been incredibly thoughtfully designed. It is a peaceful and elegant hotel where nothing is too much trouble. The food is good and the service is exceptional. We took our dogs and they were also so welcomed. If you have the budget I would also recommend dinner at Acleaf which was exquisite.

We’ve been coming here for years for afternoon teas and spa days, so it was an obvious choice for our first baby free afternoon! Lauren was absolutely incredible at sorting out my fussy self the perfect afternoon tea - veggie and don’t like eggs! It was absolutely delicious! When the male waiter heard I didn’t like hot coffee, he made me an iced latte. Nothing was too much trouble. Lauren popped back several times and had a chat with us, she was just absolutely lovely and a credit to boringdon. Food wash delicious but then it always is, service was with a genuine smile, drinks were refreshing, ambience was lovely. Can’t wait to come back for the Christmas afternoon tea with our little boy. Thanks Lauren and the chefs for a lovely afternoon

I’ve based my review on food experience which wasn’t that great for either of us . Presentation of dishes were very good but to tasted food was bland and boring. After disappointment at dinner time fortunately breakfast was better . Small but enjoyable buffet and nice salmon with pouch egg . Restaurant staff lucking attention to detail , brought hot food even through we haven’t finish our fruit with yogurt. Overall restaurant staff was not smiling or friendly. Check-in was quick and friendly. My mum have received a birthday card from hotel and small bottle of gin which she liked very much . Spa is great .relaxing music is a nice touch . On second day showers were closed for maintenance which to me should be done out of client enjoyment time . Once again we found spa staff not friendly or welcoming. No information on what’s were is given . Hotel itself is beautiful and grounds are very well maintained

10/10 we couldn't have asked for more, such an amazing day thank you. We booked borgindon for a many reasons! If your considering borgindon for any events, i highly recommend them, they have a very friendly and professional team. Especially ali the events organiser and Mike the hotel manager, they made sure our special day went smoothly and did everything perfectly, no problems they can't solve, they were so accommodating and I honestly can't say enough good things, the hotels itself is absolutely beautiful and well maintained, the food was amazing and all of my guests absolutely loved the event. To sum it up borgindon is an amazing choice and i can't thank them enough.

Fantastic afternoon tea, attentive staff without being over fussy. A really good selection for Tea including gluten free. Would highly recommend.
