Nice hotel, great location, ideal for golfers and families alike. Service excellent with fab staff Nearest airports (Mobile or Pensacola) about an hour away so not the easiest place to get to if you are not local. Breakfast very good but for evening meals best to go to one of the restaurants in nearby Fairhope (Little Bird, Kingfisher, Gambinos, Tamaras to name a few) for a better choice. Bayside taxis will get you there and back The two golf courses are a great test of golf, well maintained and fast greens to test your nerve.

Everything was fantastic! We didn’t miss the 5pm bartender preview of new drinks…for free. Food was amazing and each person on staff was always so attentive.

The Grand Hotel Sunday Brunch is the definition of unforgettable. I’ve been coming here since I was a teenager, and it still feels like pure magic every time I return. There’s something so nostalgic about walking the beautiful grounds, soaking up the bay views, and sharing the experience with friends and family who are often enjoying it for the very first time. The service was absolutely epic — attentive without being overbearing, and full of Southern hospitality. The food? Out of this world. From the carving stations and seafood to the desserts and cocktails, every bite and sip was perfection. The entertainment set the mood, the views of Mobile Bay were breathtaking, and the whole atmosphere just made the day feel special. It’s not just a brunch, it’s an experience — one that ties together history, tradition, and modern excellence. The Grand truly lives up to its name.

We had a great time at the resort! The food was excellent at every restaurant we went too! We highly recommend the seafood tower & the Lobster omelet. The only issue we had was a few cleaning issues in our room! It was really not a huge deal, and the staff took care of what was brought to their attention! The Adult Pool was great with bar & food service.

We just returned from a short stay at this one of a kind, truly amazing resort. It was my son’s birthday, so there was a gift at check in for him, with a card signed by the team (because of course they did). I reported a light bulb out and hours later, it’s fixed, along with a hand written card and a sweet local treat (of course). Thank you so much to Vicki and the team, you make memories every day with the care you deliver to your guests! The team members at the restaurant for dinner, the coffee shop for breakfast, the front desk, bell/valet/transportation team… all amazing. They do their job and they do it with grace and kindness. Seeing reviews of this hotel and giving anything but a 5 stars rating is mind boggling to me. This property puts the effort into and completes all of the small things with a high level of consistency. As a hotel person, having worked at and travelled to some of the top hotels in the world, I am confident this is one of the best hotels out there. Thank you again for making another wonderful memory for my family. See you again for Labor Day!

Very disappointed in their accounting operator. We had a large convention and I asked for help with my reservation receipt so I could expense it. It was my third time calling and she blamed me for the delay (of no one returning my call) and was unwilling to help because our convention was a month ago. I travel for living and have never had trouble with a past receipt at any hotel. I will be making my voice known on switching the convention to a place that is more helpful on the backend.
