A hidden coastal sanctuary where the bush meets the sea. Oceana is truly a rare gem that perfectly balances comfort and nature, beautifully blending bush serenity and beachside beauty. Exceptional service from the moment we arrived. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful escape.

This was by far the most disappointing outing for me, in years. Having been to Prana Lodge, for excellent massages and great food at the restaurant, Oceana was highly recommended as being a partner property. I bought a package and had to use it before end August. The bedrooms were recently done, while conceptually you could see the thinking, the functionality in many respects was lacking / for example, a lot of detail was placed on getting the room dark and then a light was fitted for I assume safe bathroom visits at night - there could have been a far more innovative way to achieved the same outcome. The biggest disappointment was the gym. The equipment is from the dark ages and 9 out of 10 do not work!!! It was like being in a 1 star property. When I went into the steam, the post steam shower was a nightmare - the shower was blocked and the water filled the entire bathroom and corridor!! Lastly, there was some excellence - the food being the only part - however, I shared my allergies and the team that I informed must have failed to share it with the next shift in spite of being promised, and I woke up with sores on my back due to the sulphite allergy I have. Something urgent needs to be done at that property!!!

Not worth the money spent. Rather lack luster. Gm not a friendly person. Poor representation of south africa better experiences elsewhere in Africa.

Oceana is an absolute gem in the Eastern Cape. The combination of an unbeatable location, complete privacy, and food to die for, plus a gym to reduce the guilt and a Spa of international quality, makes this Resort an absolute gem. Oceana needs to be on everybody's to do list.

This was a break where expectations were met - a wonderful experience of first class service, food and accommodation. The game drives were wonderful as there are no predators there the animals were more relaxed.
