I stayed at The Nines for a wedding, and it was *incredible*. The front desk staff, Clint, Amina, and the entire team, were the epitome of hospitality. Everyone I interacted with was genuinely kind and attentive; it felt like the level of care you’d experience at a boutique hotel in Europe. Clint’s energy is so warm and welcoming, I felt comfortable from the moment I checked in. I had the most gorgeous room (Clint mentioned it was his favorite, and I can see why!). The details were plush, and the view, four huge, crystal-clear windows, made the city feel alive right outside my room. The bathroom was spacious, and the minibar well stocked (though a few updated options would be nice — the late-night Pringles were clutch). At Departure, Eli made some of the best vodka martinis I’ve ever had and was great at helping brainstorm dinner ideas. Downstairs at Urban Farmer, Austin can make any coffee creation you can dream up, try an iced cappuccino before you knock it! The amenities were perfect: umbrellas for the Portland rain, friendly valet service (even though I didn’t have a car, they always welcomed me back), and a fitness center with water, towels, weights, and more equipment than I expected from a hotel gym. The location is ideal, close to shopping, dining, and everything downtown. I truly felt like a princess staying here. You can tell how well people are treated by how they treat you, and the kindness and care from everyone at The Nines speaks volumes about the culture they’ve built. I loved every second of being here and can’t wait to come back.

This hotel goes above and beyond in every aspect. The employees all go out of their way to make sure you’re having a great stay. From the moment we walked in to when we left we had great service, Janessa checked us in and was welcoming. We loved the restaurant-Urban Farmer they had the nicest hospitality, Blair and Malachi treated us like royalty! They even remembered our names each day we came back. And the food was so fresh and delicious - best coffee too. Our room was awesome and we had free cold bottles water each day which just saved us time and money when we headed out for the day. We liked the rooftop bar and restaurant too. Great vibes and views. The Bao Burgers are insanely good. And the concierge found as a fun local river boat cruise, Island Style Cruises. She also got us tickets to a local concert. We had a great stay and can’t wait to get back! 5 star service all the way and a fun atmosphere in a great part of town with lots to do.
