Sunrise Beach Hotel

Nice hotel, but a bit old. For 5 old stars =)

Friendly staff, clean common arias, clean rooms, excellent food.

Fantastic hotel/place. Directy to the sandy beach with VERY clear water. Perfect that you have the same sunbeds the whole stay, but you can change if some better are available. The gym is good with Technogym equiptment, and while exercicing, you have a nice view over the sea. Nice pools. Mostly an adult hotel. Food in restaurant is good and varied, but if you have half board, you can eat at six other restaurants, all owned by Sunrise Hotels Limited, who also owns this hotel and the neighbor hotel. Really nice that you for free can choose between so many good restaurants, all located 50-250 meters from the hotel. However, you can only eat once at each restaurant (of the six) during the week. Rooms are nice with good closet place. Very service minded front desk, and staff in general

This hotel and its sister hotel Sunrise Pearl, make a perfect pair. We enjoyed the 5 star services by staying at the Pearl, and enjoyed the daytime activities & gym and evening entertainment at the Beach.

Lovely friendly hotel, good 4 star level. Jennifer the yoga teacher was great and a proper yoga instructor as opposed to some other hotels where the yoga teacher does a bit of everything. The location on the beautiful beach next to the clear sea is wonderful. We had a lovely family holiday,

We stayed at The Sunrise Beach Hotel in Protaras for 10 nights and had a wonderful time. Firstly, the weather was absolutely beautiful for the end of October, 28 degrees most days so that was definitely a bonus. We had a side view room, which was actually ok as we could see the sea & the pool and we were on floor 3. The rooms are spacious and beds were very comfortable. Large TV, tea and coffee facilities, fridge & a hairdryer in the drawer. Balconies are lovely too with a glass panel so you can see the view. In the bathroom there was shampoo & shower gel. Bathroom was quite spacious too with a walk-in shower and double sinks. Free safe and plenty of hanging space with hangers. Quite a few channels on the TV. The hotel has a " dine out" system, so when you're half board you can actually eat out at 6 other restaurants outside the hotel on the lovely ***** of restaurants & bars, of which there are more than enough. The restaurants you can eat in are Mediterranean, Chinese, Brazilian, American Diner. Greek and couple of others that I can't remember. All were beautiful restaurants in lovely settings. That said, the hotel restaurant is just amazing, the food is delicious with an abundant choice! So, difficult to choose if you want to eat in or out. You can eat out at any of the restaurants named, but only once at each one, once a week. You book it through a simple booking system in the hotel in the Reception area. The pool(s) are all lovely but we preferred the adult pool, as a couple with no kids it was quiet and has a pool bar too. There's no getting up at 6am to put your towels down on the sunbeds as the sunbeds are all allocated on arrival, a simple but effective system that works brilliantly. Basically, you show the towel guys where you'd like to be, on a map of the pool areas, and they are "your" beds for the duration of your stay. It's a great system that every hotel should use. The pools are cold during October/Nov which is disappointing but would not put us off returning as the positives out number the negatives 100%. There is a guy who comes around the pool area during the afternoon with a cold (frozen) lemon flannel, which is a lovely touch to cool you down then later on another guy goes round with fresh fruit. The beach is a stones throw away, as you're practically on the beach, which is lovely, as we liked dipping in and out of the sea once or twice a day. I honestly couldn't fault the staff or the hotel as we had no issues at all. We even got a lunch voucher to spend in the restaurant as we arrived late to the hotel, which was another nice little gesture. It truly is a beautiful hotel and location which, until we'd actually spent 10 days there, we'd never have known the extent of how nice it was. This hotel honestly was the full package..... just heat the pools up in October please! Ha Ha!
