Hotel Mousai - Adults Only

Everything about the hotel Mousai exceeded our expectations. The rooftop infinity pool was a highlight for us with a wonderful social atmosphere. All staff were exceptionally well trained and provided top notch service. We requested a small repair of a bathroom scale, which was completed within five minutes. The room was exceptional with a large infinity hot tub on the deck. . The food was excellent and garden tour was impressive. We would definitely stay here again, with perhaps a few days in Zona Romantica, as it would be fun to be close to some activities. The location was a bit remote but perfect for a staycation

Too much awesomeness to describe in words! Atmosphere, cleanliness, amenities, consistency of the maids, butlers, front desk, waiters.. a well run operation! I truly felt like I was at home!

Went to Hotel Mousai in Puerto Vallarta and it was amazing as usual. This is our third time here. We love the staff and know them from recent stays. We have stayed in the South Tower twice and the North Tower once. Both are perfect. The housekeeping and turndown service is amazing. Deniz Lopez takes great care of our suite each day and she does an amazing job. She always thinks of every detail. The butler service is perfect. The service at the pool is top notch. We love the restaurants. We usually stay a week and enjoy the adults-only aspect of Mousai as we prefer to vacation without children roaming around. The rooftop pool is amazing. Omar, Lillith, Miguel, Alejandro, Noe, Gretta, Diego, Ricardo, Alan, and Alan's sister who works at the spa, are all delivering 5 star service. If I forgot to mention anyone from Mousai I apologize. This is a home away from home where we come to relax.

Hotel facilities and staff were awesome. I wish the corporate folks would stop trying to push their sales agenda. That is my only source of frustration. Puerto Vallarta is amazing.

October 2025 We just returned from another fantastic week at a Tafer resort; this time, it was Hotel Mousai PV. As we celebrated our 10th anniversary, the experience was terrific, from the food to the views, and most of all, the service. This time, we would like to thank Noe, Jorge, and Arturo, our servers at the South Tower rooftop pool, for the week. They were all great and took care of us throughout our stay. Additionally, Omar, our pool attendant, was present the entire time, ensuring we had everything we needed. The bartender prepared our drinks exactly as we had asked him to, even some that were not on the menu. Additionally, we want to thank Deniz Lopez, our cleaning girl, and our servers Alex, Claudia, Edgar, Janette, and Miriam, who took care of us every morning during breakfast. Finally, we want to thank Diego, our butler, who made our stay that much better. The experience is always great. We are treated like family, and we can't wait to return.

This is my fourth visit to the hotel. Our initial visit was in 2018 and we have visited almost every two years since then. While the food is still great, the views are still amazing and the staff is very responsive and helpful. We noticed that it was not the same like our initial visit. Most people who have not visited in the past will have an awesome experience. However, from my perspective, we have something to compare it to and every year it seems to decline in quality and amenities. The Chinese restaurant Dao was extremely good. The executive chef Bryan came out and spoke to us and made us feel very welcome. He prepared a special authentic Chinese dinner, which was excellent. We also visited Blanca Blue, and it was not as good as in years past. It is my understanding that they are reworking the menu however, the food was just not very good. We visited the on-site restaurant that is not part of the all-inclusive Karuma we found the food to be very good and the service to be very attentive for our wine pairing dinner. The rooftop service and food was excellent. The facilities were very clean and very well kept even though we were staying at the older tower. The view is still amazing and preferred over the newer tower. We found that housekeeping was not as on point as in years past. While they did a great job cleaning the room, in the past, they seem to have some type of connection with the various restaurants to know when you are not in the room. This time the maid service seems to be Not connected to any of the reservation systems so there were many times that the maid tried to clean the room at inconvenient times. I also found it very annoying that for the past years, the all inclusive ends at 12 PM. Many people have later flights and it would be a nice courtesy if they would extend the all-inclusive on checkout day at least till dinner. Construction noise was not very noticeable on the rooftop. However, the construction noise was very evident when you are sitting on the balcony. The once glorious Butler service is no longer the same. We rarely saw our assigned Butler and most of the transactions were done by text messages. This was similar to when we visited a few years ago. Overall, I would definitely return again. However, I wish they would bring back the former greatness of this hotel. This is just an honest opinion of someone who has visited on four different occasions. It is still one of the best hotels that I have ever been to.
