This hotel is very close to Confucius temple and 2 min walk. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is actually a suite. It is huge for two of us.

Very little English spoken but such lovely, lovely staff! We communicated quite easily with mime, nods and smiles! The hotel is very traditional so you get a good feeling of how life used to be, but there are some wonderful modern touches to make your stay comfortable, like the heated toilet seat!! I would not hesitate to stay here again and can thoroughly recommend it.

1. It is the best place to stay to understand Chinese culture. 2. The staff is very friendly and provides good service. 3. The location is within walking distance of tourist attractions and the quiet surroundings make it the best place to stay to comfortably experience culture and history. 4. Unlike hotels, the breakfast is a delicious and healthy home-cooked meal that allows you to understand Chinese food culture. It is very clean and delicious. 5. I was especially impressed by the kindness of the desk and staff. It is a traditional hotel that I definitely want to come back to with my family.

Qufu was one of our favourite places and so was this interesting hotel! Right opposite the city wall and near the gate for the changing of the guard and lightshow, and of course the famous Confucius temple and mansion. The hotel seems all dedicated to promote the ancient values and arts, the villas are exciting to explore and the furnishings are gorgeous, full of details, at the same time clearly designed to be high quality accommodation, and extremely spacious. Also the restaurant is a delight and breakfast a real treat. Our stay was a highlight in so many ways, not least thanks to the friendly and passionate staff, thanks a lot!

All good except toilet is dated, water pressure and hotwster is unstable.
Main door lock still use pad lock making it difficult to open/lock sometimes

We really loved this hotel. The house is beautiful decorated. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, walkable distance to the Qufu temple. Breakfast was very good. We did get a lot of extra's. Wished we had more time to stay longer!
