Wonderful hotel, great staff, delicious food. Bonus spa and pool, and also close to the beach. We were treated to additional treats from the hotel owner to experience wine, olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting.

The experience was going well until tonight. In the middle of our dinner, the staff made us move to another table and said the table was reserved. It was a table for 9. Prior to that, other staff had served us, brought us wine & water & no staff said the table was reserved. Then after sitting & eating for about 30 min, a staff member said you have to move. She pointed to a small sign on the table, which obviously no one saw, which said reserved. We were treated like second class citizens. Rather than trying to figure something out for us, the staff person said you have to move. I had asked earlier in the week if we could reserve a table & they said they don’t reserve tables. It didn’t add up. I am thinking certain groups/ countries are given preferential treatment. It was very disappointing.

We were a group of 18 people mostly cyclists. Some of us had been here before and we wanted to bring back a group so that they could experience a wonderful biking hotel vacation. The cycling was great with beautiful scenery, and the spa at the end of the day was a nice treat. The owner of the hotel took the time to talk with us at dinner a couple of times and it was clear he is passionate about his hotel. By the end of the vacation, we felt like we had been treated like family. We would all return here again.

There aren't enough stars for my review! They are a 10 out of 10! Everything about the hotel was fabulous. They made you feel like family, from the greeters at the front desk, to the staff in the restaurant, and the bike guides were superb! Mikol was our guide, and she was fabulous, informative, always made sure we were all together, etc. The routes they offered were so neat, the scenery was wonderful. The BBQ at Stephano's family home, and the Olive Oil lunch was so special. The fact that Stephano road with the one group and came to the events and took us out on the boat, was great. The food was excellent, the rooms were great, the bikes were brand new!!! I tried an assist road bike which was great, they showed you how to do it before you went on your ride. They provided bananas and sandwiches for the rides... They thought of everything. They were the first to offer the bike rentals and guides, and they are the gold standard. WELL DONE EVERYONE!!! Can't wait to go back!!!!

Wonderful! Very organized and enjoyable events. The cycling guides were knowledgeable, capable and helpful. The food from breakfast to dinner was excellent. We can’t say enough good words about the hotel staff and Stefano.

I visited Hotel Dory this September for a Cycling week. The hotel is welcoming, very well looked after. The facilities are very good, the spar etc. The apartment we had was roomy and modern. The food was varied to most tastes. The cycling guides were very good and understanding of an amateur cyclist. Hire bikes excellent and well fitted to me. The hotel is right in the town, just where you want to be for a walk in the evening. Avoid the taxis from and to the airport as they are very expensive, explore public transport. But overall the experience at the Dory was brilliant and will visit again.
