We spend money on tours, meals, and attractions, but I try to cut corners on accomodations. This time I thought why not treat this stay as an attraction instead of a hotel. Instead of staying in some cheaper place, far away, why not stay right where we want to be and be comfortable? The Omni worked out great for us. Nice room, great view. Walked to our restuarant and even walked to our Ghost tour.

The hotel, restaurant and room were all great. Unfortunately there was very poor water pressure in the shower the morning ing we were leaving, but the staff handled the complaint with courtesy and professionalism. Staff was fabulous from front desk to restaurant and even in the Starbucks. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip through the area.

We have a son at VCU, so we have have several trips to Richmond. Of 4 properties we have stayed Omni is head and shoulders above the other mainstream hotels we have stayed in. The beds are heavenly and the staff is so very courteous and attentive. They set the standard not only in Richmond but with all of our travel, this ranks high in our service experiences. Housekeeping and Valets went out of their way to make our schedule manageable and comfortable.

Wonderful stay. The front desk staff is exceptional. The hotel is beautiful and the room service was fast and delish! Starbucks is located conveniently in the lobby area. This is one of my favorite hotels in Richmond.

An extremely convenient place to stay downtown, especially if you take Amtrak. I had a lovely view, a clean room and easy WiFi for the duration of my trip. The drinks at the Tavern were delicious. My lone complaint was a malfunctioning smoke detector that woke me early on Saturday morning, but was quickly removed by the hotel engineer snd replaced before I left for the evening.

This is my first and last stay at an Omni property. One of the worst hotel experiences of my life, avoid at all costs. I have been here with family for a wedding nearby and a lot has gone wrong: room smelled like cigarettes, mold in the coffee machine, inconsistent hours at hotel restaurants, improperly cooked food at hotel breakfast restaurant, leaky shower, uncomfortable beds, broken outlets in room, fire alarms going off with no explanation or concern for guest safety, constant noise from outside late at night. Staff were friendly for the most part and I don’t blame them for the poor management of the property, but the “it is what it is” attitude is now what I associate most with the Omni brand.

The Omni is one of the most elegant hotels I’ve ever stayed at, and the customer service was truly A1! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. The valet, front desk, and maintenance staff all provided exceptional service with genuine smiles and professionalism. We enjoyed breakfast at their restaurant, Westham Porch, and it was absolutely perfect—beautifully cooked and just the right portion size. Overall, our stay at the Omni was a memorable experience from start to finish. I can’t wait to visit other Omni properties in the near future. Truly top-notch!

We had a great experience staying at the Omni Richmond for three nights around a wedding. It was comfortable, there were good food options, in a great location, and the staff was helpful and accomodating.
