Emiliano Rio

I had a great stay at Emiliano Hotel Rio de Janeiro. Location in Copacabana with views of the ocean is very central, breakfast with unlimited a la carte menu was fantastic, and the rooftop pool is gorgeous (with views of Copacabana Beach). My room faced other buildings in the back so if views from your room are important, be sure to mind the room type you book. What really stood out was the genuine and friendly service. Everyone made us feel welcome throughout our stay and were helpful even when things were not perfect. Fernando from Guest Services/Bell Desk deserves a special mention. After I checked-out I realized I left my AirPods in the pocket of the bathrobe. When we went back to the room we realized it had already been sent down to laundry with other linens. Fernando took time to personally go to the laundry to search and found them for me! This was very impressive as it was my fault to have left them behind. With gratitude, I will definitely stay here again.

Emiliano Rio is a luxurious hotel, no grand entrance nor exquisite decoration but the staff, room, amenities and the rooftop bar/view is a cool surprise! We were upgraded on our second night to a room with the Copacabana beach view and it is amazing! I just want to stay in the room and enjoy the view. The bathroom and tub is huge with a strong water pressure. The toilet comes with a bidet similar to that of the Japanese ones. The room is bright and clean. You need to book the room with a view and you’ll not regret it. The hotel is around 45-60 minutes from GIG. We used Uber all the time and never had any issues. The hotel is close to restaurants, cafes, grocery stores and of course the beach. They have a gym with a nice view and sauna that you can use. The breakfast area is beautiful with the vibe of the Brazilian Amazon because of the plant wall. The breakfast choices are plentiful with our staple acai, pao de quiezo, coconut water and one of the best croissants we’ve ever had. Lastly, we always take note of the names of the staff that made our stay wonderful and memorable. Front Desk Augusto always had a smile on his face and greets us whenever he sees us. Fabricio and Hillary are both nice and accommodating during our check out and reassured us of fixing the issue of our credits. Breakfast Lara who is always there with a smile. In a short time we spent with her, she knows our room number, our preferences like water with or without gas. Our preference on how the eggs are done. She is always welcoming and details is in her forte. Butler Enzo was always attentive and helpful. He was always ready to help or answer our inquiries. Bellman Nacimiento? I’m not sure if I got his name right but he’s a tall guy who always greets us with a smile and always shouts “Welcome back!” He seems genuine and happy to see us. Keep up the good work attitude! Spa Anna and Sole both are polite and wonderful. They were great masseuses and gave us a relaxing time. Overall, I recommend Emiliano Rio and will sure be back if I will be in Rio next time.

The hotel is excellent, superbly located, with large balconies. Impeccable cleanliness. Wonderful, friendly service. You feel like a guest, not a hotel customer. The breakfasts couldn't be better. They are served, but the staff will fulfil your every wish. The terrace on the 12th floor and the balconies offer a beautiful view of Copacabana and Sugarloaf Mountain. In the room, there is a spacious bathroom with a large wardrobe and a huge safe. Every day, when we returned to our room, we found small snacks and sweets that had been prepared especially for us. On our special day, we received a bottle of wine. To sum up, the stay was fantastic. The hotel is worth recommending.
