We have just stayed here for 4 nights . The Hotel is wonderful . The food and food quality is outstanding . The rooms are all diffrent but lovely. Top quality linnens as you would expect for a five star hotel . From the min. We arrived we were greeted by Roberto with a happy smile and wonderful glass of Prosecco he is head Concierge and a real asset to the Hotel . During our stay nothing was too much trouble the staff were fantastic ! Special mention To Byron in the resturant he was so great helping us with bus times directions etc and also the lady also in the resturant in eves. Sorry can't remember her name ( she worked on celebrity cruises ) she was fantastic thank you .

What a superb hotel! All the staff are very professional, polite and courteous. The food is really good. It was our wedding anniversary whilst we were there and after a day out we returned to our room to find a cake and greetings. Lovely touch. The hotel is well situated for buses for sightseeing around the island and close to the port. We would highly recommend this hotel and will return. Beautiful sunrises. Our thanks especially to Owethu on reception, the concierge Roberto and Josh and Thanusha duty manager not forgetting Byron in the bar and Marsha I the restaurant. Thank you to all the staff for a really great week away from home.

Old school proper hospitality. Whilst we received amazing hospitality on the majority of the trip, it could do with a few tweeks. Some of the rooms are noisy due to the spa and air con units. Service was mostly 5* but one day was really lacking & couldn't get a boiled egg correct. On the whole the portions at breakfast were huge, the staff v friendly, although one person spent her time chatting instead of serving so took half hr to take order. They did go above and beyond mostly & I wouldn't hesitate to go back. Lovely atmosphere & friendly staff too

First class service and presentation from the welcome drink when we arrived to the sincere good luck, hope to see you again on departure day. Special mention to the very hardworking staff, always helpful, always with a smile on their faces. Nothing too much trouble. Well equipped gym & spa and a heated outdoor pool. Centrally located in a good position , our room had a view of the harbour. It’s the little bits that this hotel offers that makes it special, like a little confectionery gift that is left every night with the turn down service.

If this hotel definitely deserves its 5 stars it is because of its staff both heloful and friendly (special mention to Pamela and all her good vibes.) Regarding its accommodations I wouldn’t be so generous. Of course the building is full of history and beautiful pieces of furniture. Yet the suite we stayed in was quite old fashioned and would definitely need some improvement (the fridge for example seems to be 30 years old and is empty with nothing in it). The food was good but the breakfast buffet is rather poor for a fussy eater. There is clearly here a great potentialité that is just waiting to be exploited.

My first solo trip as a widow. I was met with kindness, efficiency and a staff group that were absolutely brilliant always. The hotel is beautiful, super clean, exactly as described on the website and amazingly comfortable. The room was looked after beautifully during my stay and the staff were there to meet every need. Amenities wise, I mainly used the bistro where fresh local fish and vegetables were the order of the day. Great recommendations from the team and again service that couldn’t be faulted. The grounds are lovely with a great pool which was welcome after the heat of the day. Highly recommended.

Wow what a lovely hotel! Spent 4 days there over our wedding anniversary and was treated to lovely treat when we returned to room along with card from staff and complimentary glass of champagne before our evening meal and then another treat from the staff in dining room . Could not fault the food or the service from any of the staff all who were lovely from the cleaners to the management. Alessandro in the brassiere was a joy and all the girls were lovely.special thanks to Pamile and the 2 other girls who helped me when I fell over ( and the 2 strapping great men who helped me up ). We managed to park in disabled spot most days but when unavailable a guy from the hotel parked it for us and brought it to front of hotel when needed again. Luggage was taken upstairs for us and brought down when we left. I cannot say good enough things about this hotel and would recommend to anyone.

What a fabulous hotel. As soon as we arrived the amazing customer service began. We had a fantastic time in this beautiful hotel. Our room was incredible with a stunning view of the port. Josh and Roberto - Charlie at the gym - fantastic people - who genuinely were kind and helpful. There was also a lovely man who did the rooms and turn down service. I didn’t catch his name but he was so kind. All the staff are just great. The location is perfect. Guernsey is beautiful. The breakfast is outstanding and we enjoyed the spa. We would come back just to enjoy the hotel. We didn’t want to leave! Thank you for a great memories !
