Nice property, thats it. Rooms are exceedingly dated, worn out, barren walls, noisy AC, old TV technology, and spotty WiFi. Preposterously overpriced, stupidly restrictive cancellation policy (no refunds, no matter how far in advance you cancel for a fall weekend), and very inexperienced members of bell staff. The cart ride to our room upon arrival was around dumpsters, equipment sheds, and various maintenance facilities. Bellman didnt know where our room was or how we could get back to front desk. Food was also expensive, but was cafeteria quality. A few photos attached. Would never go back.

We stayed at Boar’s Head Resort for two nights to celebrate my birthday, booking a lakeside suite — and the view was absolutely amazing. Waking up to the water each morning was a highlight in itself. Dinner at the Mill Room was ok to good — the setting was lovely, but the food didn’t quite reach the same “wow” factor as other parts of our stay. The spa and pool, on the other hand, were outstanding. Both spaces felt serene and well‑maintained, and the treatments left us feeling completely refreshed. The Sports Center was also impressive; we only used the fitness center this time, but it was spacious, clean, and well‑equipped. We didn’t try the golf course or other outdoor activities on this visit, but the grounds looked beautiful and well‑kept. Overall, this was a relaxing and memorable stay. We’re already planning to return for a longer visit in the future to enjoy more of what the resort has to offer.

A great value and beautiful hotel. I like the hotel has an adult only pool. I do think the cabanas and pool area could be a little snazzier. Restaurants and bar were great, staff is very nice. This is a historic hotel, so keep that in mind? But it is well maintained.

Thank you to the Boars Head Resort for a beautiful two day get away. Celebrating my husbands birthday with. Hot Air Balloon ride with Monticello Country Balloons, our second time. We enjoyed the beautiful grounds, delicious dinners and friendly staff, especially Joy at dinner and Mary at breakfast. Rayshawn, Security Manager, is not only friendly but discreetly ensures we feel secure and protected. We will return again next year. June and Dale Thompson

The resort is beautiful with a high-end aesthetic. However we were surprised and disappointed when we saw the view from our room. Instead of a view of the lovely landscaped grounds, we were looking at what I think were the mechanicals for the air conditioning system. It had the same vibe as being underground in the NYC subway system. We spent the remainder of our stay with the shades down. It really spoiled our stay. The hotel could easily improve this issue with a shade or shutters that obscure the bottom half of the window.

A '10' all-around. From the well-trained associates at the front desk, to the delightful spa experience, ambiance poolside, dinner in the Mill Room, and walking the grounds made this one-night stay one to remember. We'll come again!

I had an amazing stay at Boar’s Head Resort. The property gave me a cozy, mountain-lodge feel—like a mix between Breckenridge and Beaver Creek. The Winter Wander experience was beautiful and truly magical. The staff were outstanding. The front desk team was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. The Bellman was excellent—he carried my bags, walked me to my room, and showed me how everything worked, including the in-room iPad and menus. Overall, the service, atmosphere, and hospitality made me feel like I was in a different world. I really enjoyed my stay and highly recommend Boar’s Head Resort!
