Aquamare Hotel

After extensive research, we booked Aquamare and can confidently say it ranks among the best hotels in San Andrés. The facilities are absolutely impeccable. Both the rooms and common areas are extremely clean, and the staff is attentive, friendly, and professional. Special thanks to Mishell, who helped us with a room change at check-in and was incredibly supportive throughout our week-long stay. Breakfast is outstanding, with an impressive variety. No exaggeration — you could practically have lunch during breakfast. In addition to the usual breakfast items (breads, fruits, yogurts, waffles, cereals, eggs), Aquamare also offers salads and hot proteins like shredded beef and chicken rolls. All of this is served with a stunning view of El Acuario and the beautiful Caribbean Sea. The pool is excellent — perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach or a boat tour, with full service from the waitstaff available in the pool area. Our room (with an interior view of the hotel’s atrium) was a good size, with a very comfortable queen-size bed. The bathroom was spacious, and the shower had great water pressure and hot water. It’s worth noting that the shower area has no door — we were told this is standard in all rooms due to a past incident involving glass doors. The location is a 10/10. The only transportation we needed was to and from the airport. Beaches are within walking distance, as are departure points for boat tours — all under 10 minutes away on foot. Even the golf cart ("mule") we rented was delivered directly to the hotel entrance.

The Aquamare hotel was first class. Hotel itself was great. Excellent air conditioning, great Hot water and shower. Beds were super comfortable. Room was clean and spacious. It was the staff that puts this hotel over the top. Everyone was so friendly and such hard workers. Geraldine and Cristian at the bar. (I did my best to finish that bottle of Selva) Stefany and Bethany at reception - Dimelsa. Clarence out front, Kimberly at breakfast. And Rigo - hardest working man in the place. Great people!

Some furniture needs some pressure washing and the pool needs a clean. Other than that all good.. breakfast was amazing

Good place to stay Bfast a bit messed staff don’t see very attentive & areas keep clean compare to other places we stayed in Colombia but over a good hotel Compare to other hotels in the island

Wonderful hotel. The service is top! Alexandra at the dinner restaurant and the receptionists were amazing!
