You must choose this hotel if you want being bugged My husband and I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. As there is a connection door inside the room, the sound proof is really really bad, we can clearly hear the conversation from the adjacent room. The family who lived adjacent slept late and got up very early, the child kept shouting and this woke me and my husband up. After that, we reached the reception and requested to have a room change, but the female reception staff refused. She said there was no other available rooms with the same price, she said we needed to PAY BY OURSELVES to upgrade another room style. I said it is not acceptable because it is your hotel's problem, if the hotel has a good sound proof wall, we would not hear sound from the adjacent room, but the female staff insisted this was the customer’ problem, not the hotel's problem and would not change any room for us. And at last she proposed to change our room with an upgrade fee €80. It is so radicular that the staff refused to give any help to us and just only asked us to pay more. As a result, we were woken up by the adjacent sound at 7:12am on the first day and 6:49am on the second day , the adults kept talking, the child kept shouting and running, and we could not sleep anymore. It was a very bad experience and we are very disappointed. We recommend everyone NOT to choose this hotel.

This hotel is amazing. I love all the tech used around the hotel from the wrist bands with an embedded chip to gain entry to your room and charge extras to your room, to the robots in the restaurants and the QR codes for the menus. Take advantage of the app as well it's really quite good. For booking the a la cartes; if going in busy periods like school holidays it's recommended you book the week before you arrive. We were lucky and although we booked we probably didn't need to but we were a big party. Buffet food is really quite good. They have themes each night and although they have some standard fayre there is a lot of variety. They cater for gluten and lactose intolerant and allergies. They mark everything as having nuts but most of the time it is in the environment rather than in the food. We know this because 2 of our party have nut allergies. If you tell them in the a la cartes they look after those with allergies. Entertainment is great for a hotel. There is a kid's show (candyman: not to be confused with the horror film) and a couple of others which are free there are paid events as well if you want it but there is so much going on. The castle has a light show at 2130 and 2230 with music. It only lasts a couple of minutes but it's quite a spectacle. There is a show mid week around the pool with the tree. If you can see it and the pools from your room, you'll get a better view of everything. The place is very clean. All the outsides are washed everyday. There's staff clearing spent drinks up and they react to spillages if you tell them about it. There are bars everywhere and even some self-serve bars as well. Pools are great from the splash pools on the lowest level to the infinity pool for the adult area as well as the deeper pools on the upper level. They are not heated so may be cool when you first get in but it's a welcome respite from the heat. The rooms are great we had a junior suite and a master suite with plenty of beds to go around. They were very spacious, cleaned everyday and the mini bar replenished daily. All in all a really great hotel that caters for families and couples alike. Yes, it is windy but what do you expect in the canaries? Highly recommend.

The hotel itself is beautiful—lovely atmosphere, great sports bar, and incredibly attentive staff. Just a heads-up: there are quite a few steep steps and the lifts aren’t the best, so if mobility is a concern, it might not be ideal. The on-site "McDonald's" was a brilliant touch, and a top tip—bring your own plastic drinking cups, they really came in handy. Evening entertainment was enjoyable, though the dance shows started to feel a bit repetitive after a few nights. The buffet was solid, but the constant clatter of dropped cutlery at every meal was distracting. Unfortunately, my mum was accidentally injured by a knife that bounced off the floor—thankfully, staff responded quickly and provided a plaster. The steakhouse was best but prebook on the app before your holiday to get a slot The castle light show was absolutely magical and a highlight of the trip. Now, for fellow smokers (if that’s not you, feel free to skip ahead): I chose this hotel for a girls’ trip with my mum and did my homework—watched influencer TikToks, checked reviews, and saw ashtrays on balconies, which seemed promising. On arrival, our swim-up room didn’t have an ashtray, but both neighbouring rooms did, and guests had clearly been smoking outside. My mum brought her own ashtray and smoked on the terrace all week. The cleaner even emptied it while we were in the pool. However, the night before checkout, we received an email warning us about smoking in the room and a potential €120 cleaning fee. I went straight to reception to clarify—we hadn’t smoked indoors, and there were no signs indicating outdoor smoking was prohibited. Plus, other guests were openly smoking on their balconies. They told us to stop, and since it was a warning, we wouldn’t be charged as long as we complied. My mum immediately switched to the designated smoking area near the main pool. Interestingly, other guests at the smoking zone said they’d been smoking on their balconies all week without issue. Yet, at checkout, reception tried to charge us the fee anyway. After a firm discussion, they removed it—but it did leave a sour note on an otherwise great holiday. I understand the hotel’s rules, but they need to be clearer and consistently enforced. Overall, I’d still recommend the hotel—it’s a wonderful place—but if you’re a smoker, be cautious and ask about the policy upfront.

We visited here in September with our 4 month old baby. The hotel is very clean, modern and spacious. The room was wonderful, we had a family suite which was huge. Lots of variety of pools which are all kept to a good standard, no fighting for sunbeds. Food in the main buffet was varied. We ate at the Italian and Asians Al a carte which was nice also. Lots of British and Irish guests at the hotel who were extremely friendly and made the overall atmosphere very nice. Lobby bar was good. We used the photography service in the hotel and were pleased with the outcome. Staff were friendly. You get two evenings at the theatre for shows and the rest of the evenings there is live music on the terrace on sports in the sports bar. Lots going on in the day for kids entertainment and mini disco at night. Only thing is potentially the location, as there isn’t much around other than a few shops and golf, for us this didn’t matter as with a young baby we didn’t intend on going out, but if wanting to go to las Americas this is around 30 euros each way in a cab. The plus of the location is it’s only 10 mins from the airport. Would definitely recommend this for families.

This is an outstanding hotel for very young families.We had a deluxe family master suite and could not fault it at all. Everything we have come to expect from the Bahia group. Extremely clean with visible cleaning going on throughout the day especially in the buffet where many high chairs had food thrown on the floor underneath, it was swept away immediately. We stayed last year with the family but actually chose to come back on our own as it’s a brilliant location for the golf course too! Also the adults only section with a wonderful infinity pool was extremely quiet! There are so many sun loungers to choose from that there was no need to get up before sunrise to lay a towel and claim a parasol….just brilliant. Great that most people follow suit and only use the loungers when they need them, a relaxing start to the day. If you are a privilege member don’t be put off by the lack of privileges received in Tenerife, 2025 may be a year of change most certainly for Fantasia we were saved the very best Cabana every day with a bottle of Cava and snax too!! It really did make the holiday for us so a big thankyou for this update. It goes without saying that all staff are hard working and friendly and the entertainment is of a high standard. Bar Manager and staff Enzo,Tyrell and the new guy with a top knot (I’m so sorry) also provided outstanding service.
