酒店價格不菲，但是房間不大沒有浴缸且沒有面海的景色，大部分錢都是交在這個地理位置和精緻裝修上。酒店停車也是要錢的，各項服務沒有啥免費提供的，所以七七八八算下來7、8千一晚的酒店真的沒什麼性價比可言。
當然也是有點歷史和設計感的，確實不少有錢人住，但如果想真正享受有錢人的感覺，最好得訂超過一萬一晚的房間，否則你會跟我一樣後悔錢扔水裡了。
不要説我窮酸沒見世面，我搬出去在聖巴巴拉downtown也住了，LA等其他地方都住了，沒有對比沒有傷害。衹能説不嫌錢多可以住，畢竟還是豪華酒店，不會不舒服，衹是你那點小錢買不來高貴，別跟我一樣被小紅書推銷給迷了眼就行。

Great hotel experience except for being placed next to a room with a family with loud kids. The noise woke us up at 6:30am. Upon checking out, the front dest told me that I should have asked NOT to be placed next to a family next time. That was disappointing considering the amount of money I spent.

Although I've walked by and admired the architecture, I have never had the pleasure of staying at the Californian. However, I have decided this is my new favorite hotel in Santa Barbara. The entire stay was a pleasure, from the welcome text to the comfort of the room, to the staff, who consistently provided excellent service. Our bed was so comfortable I asked what brand/make it was, and they were able to provide a link! I really enjoyed our morning coffee at The Goat Tree Cafe, and appreciated the service provided at the Tan-Tan pool, which has amazing views - you feel as though you are actually on the beach. Overall, this property is exactly what one hopes for in a boutique hotel: great service, beautiful decor, and high quality food and amenities, plus an extremely comfortable room. We will be back.

Amazing historic hotel in Santa Barbara. Short walk to the ocean, restaurants and shopping. 10 minutes from the airport. Staff is awesome, very courteous and accommodating. Rooms are very comfortable and we had a balcony with a great view of State St. Would definitely recommend this property.

Wanted to like this hotel more, but felt that it fell below expectations on cleanliness. When I got into the room, there was a stray towel on the floor, unclear if it was from a prior guest. Multiple towels hanging in the bath had stains on them. Even the replacement towels had stains. Seems that there should be a review of the linens and replacement, as needed. Also, the Internet was incredibly slow, to the point that it was impossible to work from the hotel room. Expected a bit more from a hotel that was charging $1,300 per night!

Loved the pet policy and everywhere our dogs were allowed. Hotel location was perfect with many food and beach options. Being able to have our dogs with us at the pool meant we didn’t have to leave them in the room alone. Our room location near the pool was perfect for our R&R
