Property Description
A wilderness location and a sensitive connection to Rajasthan's history and culture await guests at Aman-i-Khas - an outpost on the threshold of Ranthambore National Park inspired by lavish Mughal hunting parties of old. Each of the ten soaring guest tents is beautifully furnished and assigned a personal butler. In between daily Jeep safaris to catch a glimpse of tigers and other wildlife, guests can enjoy rejuvenating spa treatments or a dip in the traditional step-well pool before drinks around a communal firepit and dinners lit by flickering candles under a canopy of stars.
Traditional treatments as well as Reiki healing - body scrubs and facials soothe and revive in the spa tent. Made with vegetables and herbs grown in the camp's organic garden Indian and Western dishes are served in the softly-lit dining tent. Whether it is a landmark celebration or a group retreat, Aman-i-Khas offers an opportunity for a memorable wilderness escape.

This place was AMAZING! From the moment we arrived, we were pampered. The grounds are beautiful and the tents unbelievably well appointed. Large with high ceilings designed to provide maximum comfort. The staff were similarly AMAZING! Attentive, protective and caring. I can't thank them enough for taking good care of me when I came down with a cold. The thoughtful daily gifts were a surprise and put a smile on our faces. Our safari guide and driver were great too.

As a frequent traveler accustomed to luxury hotels, I can confidently say that this establishment truly stands out. The attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction are remarkable. Highly recommended. Our butler Kartik Tamboli made us feel right at home, attending to our every need. The Aman safari experience was incredible, especially the thrill of spotting tigers. This is a very special place with an extraordinary staff. If you want to go on a tiger safari, do not separate yourself from nature in a hotel. These luxurious “tents” are sublime. My Batman, Kaseem “KC” was amazing. He anticipated my every move. Indulge. Hire a driver from the Aman to pick you up and return you to the airport. The food was superb and there is no worry about belly issues. Aman-I-Khas is a must if you’re going to Ranthambore National Park.

We had such an amazing time! The property is beautiful. It never felt crowded, as there are a limited number of tents. The food was incredible, some of the best we had in India. The tents felt very luxurious. Our Batman, Esver, was very helpful and sweet. Esver even set up a special table for us with decorations for my birthday ***** with a cake and flowers. The only negative thing I can think of is we had a monkey on the top of our tent at 3am…but that is part of the experience haha! We also had massages at the spa that were fabulous. Overall a 10/10 experience, and we hope to be back some day!

Ok, well I love Aman Hotels. We were really looking forward to this one so here goes, the good, the bad and the honest. Positive points: -Our Batman was awesome, Vijay, this guy is a game changer and makes the resort and the experience perfect. -The tents are super dope, luxury for sure, amazing, picture perfect. Really incredible. -The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. -Our yoga instructor was awesome, if I could grab two people from that resort and employ them it would be ViJay and the Yoga bro, I forget his name but he was great. -Food was great and Vijay was proactive in creating amazing customized meals for us, I was super satisfied and no complaints whatsoever. -The wildlife was incredible, the birds, mongoose, monkeys, bugs, butterflies everything was magical. It was a nature lovers paradise and thats what matters most to us and why we were there. -We had great massages in the spa and I am picky, these were legit massages. Thank you Spa team, you did a great job! Areas of improvement (4 things): A few things went wrong on our stay, normally these wouldn't be a big deal but if you are paying USD2k a night you don't expect these difficulties. -Our bathtub jammed in the on position, our batman was gone, and we had to wait 40 minutes or more for staff to come shut it off. This threw a "wrench" into our calculated day plans and given we had only two days, time was valuable. This set us back and upset our timing on a few things. -I had planned a yoga session, was waiting for someone to come take me to the yoga area as they said they would do and nobody showed up, so I wandered the resort for 45 minutes trying to find the location. This was super annoying, given our timeline I was pretty unhappy with this. That said they made up for it with a solid yoga session with the yoga instructor who is great. -Hair: We had hair in shower stuck to the wall and the loofah package when we arrived, we pointed this out, they replaced the loofah. This is Aman, no bueno, this should just not happen, ever at Aman. -We were given the Centurion AMEX letter by accident when we arrived, when it should have been the Amex platinum FHR letter. They swapped it out without us seeing, not a big deal but it was confusing for us, I would have appreciated them just stating they made a mistake and changing the letter. -Safari: I booked a private 3.5 hour safari tour for $1,000 as opposed to the inexpensive group tours (that consisted of crowded buses full of loud tourists and children) clearly because we prefer privacy and exclusivity. I had hoped our guide was a little more pro-active, enthusiastic and assertive in chasing great photos. Instead he followed the crew of massive tour buses full of screaming tourists and children and then parked next to them (actually behind them), until we had to complain to get him to be proactive and move the vehicle. In fact if my wife hadn't said anything I think we would have sat with the tour buses all aftern

Our stay at this Aman property, located in the jungle on the edge of Ranthambore National Park, was nothing short of magical. The hotel’s exclusive location provided an intimate and peaceful atmosphere, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the surroundings while still enjoying the highest level of luxury. Our tent was beyond our expectations, offering all the modern amenities one could ask for (including a high-tech Japanese toilet!). The tent was beautifully designed, blending nature with comfort to create a truly unique experience. The service was exceptional, embodying the renowned Aman hospitality. Special thanks to our butler/ "Batman" (KC), who was always on hand to ensure we had everything we needed and made our stay even more memorable. The meals were absolutely delicious, adding to the perfection of our stay. The hotel also features a lovely stepwell pool, which was the perfect place to relax between or after our safaris. Its tranquil design and refreshing waters made it the ideal spot to unwind after a hot day in the jungle. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire team for their kindness and commitment to making our stay unforgettable. Their warmth and professionalism truly made all the difference and ensured that our experience was exceptional.

Impressive amount of thought and attention to detail for all aspects of our experience; from the spacious tent, multiple seating areas, deeply comfortable bed and pillows, to the bathroom amenities and the delicious food. The care and attention by our “Batman” and every single member of the staff for whatever need we could possibly conjure was overwhelming. It speaks to a focus on great leadership and training, and set a standard by which our future hotel/resort travel will be judged. One word of advice to those planning on taking a safari-book through Aman-I-Khas. It is worth every penny to have a private tour using their driver (ours had 25+ years of experience) and the contracted naturalist. On our two safaris (one early morning, one late afternoon), we saw two different tiger families (multiple broods and the father) which was beyond our wildest hopes. But most importantly, the driver and naturalist worked seamlessly to position us in the best places within the zones for the optimum experience. Their insight into how the tigers would move was uncanny and resulted in us observing the tigers’ behaviors for several hours. The icing on the cake is that the naturalist took many amazing photos which Aman-I-Khas provided us as a part of our experience.

Wow - best hotel in India and one of best ones we stayed at anywhere. Tent is awesome, grounds well maintained, service staff, manager - each attentive, friendly, superbly trained and they check-in on you and genuinly care. Menu offers plenty of options and if you want something off menu, they would oblige (with in reason). Tent: nice shower, tub, dual sinks, large bed, a/c+heat, desks, large sitting area, chairs outside tent. Negatives: No TV and since thin canvas walls, can hear neighborhood noises at times and the dirt road to get to hotel is bumpy. They very close to park (zones 1-5). Spa treatments good, pool nice. Some music at night, wish they varied it though. They have a farm on grounds to grow most of what they serve, recycle water, use area wood and they trying to be sustainable. I'd stay again at this location and would highly recommend.
