Shantou DIOTEL Queen Hotel

Even though I'm used to the butler service at high-end hotels everywhere I travel, it's rare to find one as thoughtful as The Queens Hotel. I just had to write a little review. From the moment we arrived at Shantou Station, we received impeccable service. All the staff were well-trained, polite, and enthusiastic without being overbearing. Not to mention, the hotel itself is in the most prime, central location – a scenic spot in its own right – and the price is absolutely incredible value for money. I must also mention the complimentary laundry service; clothes were washed, folded, and returned within 4 hours. This is such a necessity in the hot and humid Lingnan region! After just a few hours out and about, clothes get soaked with sweat, and I always feel a bit embarrassed sending sweaty clothes to be washed. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit!

Xiao Zhuang on the fifth floor is an amazing photographer, combining great skill with emotional resonance – truly fantastic! We even caught a beautiful sunset. The hotel service was exceptionally good, highly commendable, and I didn't find it noisy at all.

Fantastic location and incredible service! The staff were professional and very nice. Every dish at breakfast was delicious, and they even had special activities like guided tours of the small park. The complimentary breakfast at the pavilion was also really good. They offer a pick-up and drop-off service to the high-speed rail station. Plus, they gave us a complimentary afternoon tea set for two!

It has the cozy feel of a guesthouse but with hotel-level service. The staff were excellent. It's located within a small park, which is convenient for walking, and the way it blends with the pavilion is really beautiful. Highly recommend!

The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient to explore the old town right downstairs. The room decor is very stylish, the bedding is comfortable, toiletries are Bvlgari, and the hygiene is spotless. The butler service was also very attentive, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. This is the top choice for a trip to Shantou, and I recommend picking a room with a balcony – they're larger and more comfortable.

The front desk staff was very friendly and upgraded our room for free. The bedding in the room was comfortable, and the breakfast had a good variety and was very filling. Shout out to the chef, the licorice fruits were especially delicious. We could do laundry for free, and they were basically responsive to all our requests. It's a great place, highly recommended. If you're driving, you can park in the nearby parking lot.
