Unfortunately , that resort has the right spot and the facilities to do it well but to much things are missing. Too much services oriented to asiatics buses and local golf players.

My stay at Simola Hotel was nothing short of exquisite. The accommodation was absolutely luxurious — beautifully designed rooms with modern finishes, plush comfort, and every detail thoughtfully considered. It’s the perfect blend of sophistication and serenity. I also got to experience some of the incredible activities on site — from playing padel (such a fun and energetic way to start the day!) to spending time on the golf course, which is truly one of the most scenic in South Africa. Whether you’re a pro or a casual player, it’s an unforgettable experience surrounded by nature’s beauty. Simola is the kind of place that leaves you refreshed, inspired, and eager to return.

The unit was spacious clean and had everything we needed. The bed was king sized, comfortable with clean white cotton bedding. Bathroom was large with plenty of hot water and large fluffy white towels. The breakfast was delicious and the staff friendly and attentive. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Excellent place to stay. I’ve stayed a few times. Always very enjoyable. With the best views of Knysna I know of.Great Suites and well furnished. The hotel offers a spa gym and golf. It’s is hilly but that enhances the views. I book directly with Tracy for better value avoiding agents

I recently traveled to Knysna for business and stayed at Simola for just one night. Although my stay was far too short, I made every second count. As someone who travels often, convenience and comfort are key, and Simola delivers both effortlessly. Thank you for putting a plug close to the mirror :-) The rooms are warm and inviting, with thoughtful spaces to sit and catch up on work. I ordered room service, and despite it being in-room dining, the meal was beautifully presented and delicious. Breakfast the next morning was an absolute treat, a wide variety of options paired with the most breathtaking views. I only wish I could have stayed longer!
