I visited the El Dorado Maroma with my friend for a week in January 2023. Believe me, this is the best resort ever! I have stayed at many all-inclusive resorts in the Cancun/Riviera Maya area, and this resort outranks all others! The service is simply amazing, from the second you arrive until you have to leave.
We absolutely loved Manuel at the beach, who greeted us each morning and walked out with us to help us find the perfect spot for the day. He didn’t just hand us our towels - he laid them out for us on the loungers or the bali bed chosen, then adjusted the umbrella so we could be in the shade, as we preferred. He then continued checking on us throughout the day and adjusting our umbrella as the sun moved. Talk about being pampered! He was wonderful! We also loved Little D (Diego) at the beach, who brought us drinks and made us smile - he seems so happy to be there!
I can’t forget to mention the beach - it is the best beach of any resort I have stayed at! Clean, white sand, and so few people. That’s another great thing about this resort - no crowds!! It is small, quiet and relaxing. So peaceful! If you want a party resort, this is not it. It was perfect for us!
Overall, you will not be sorry if you choose this resort!!! We loved it and will return again, hopefully soon, and hopefully with my hubby next time! I can’t wait to hear those wonderful friends tell me “Welcome Home”!

We have visited El Dorado Maroma several times and continue to remain in love with this place. Not only are the grounds, the food and the accommodations lovely, the staff is what sets this place above all. We have been going for the past 8 years and most of the staff are the same from our first visit. They remember you and welcome you back with open arms. If you are seeking a refuge from the hustle and bustle of reality and need a zen place to refresh and rejuvenate...this is your place. It is not a party place yet a relaxed peaceful place. This kind of atmosphere definitely feeds the soul and will keep us coming back again and again.

This resort is small and caters to your every need. The food is fantastic and has great variety. The beach is so beautiful and not rocky! The staff is so friendly and accommodating! The activities staff including Marco, Mauricio and Alex were wonderful! The butlers Victor and Bernie were the best at arranging everything for us. I highly recommend this all inclusive resort!

The property is beautiful!... very well kept! The beach and the water just outside our room couldn't be any better. Having talked to locals, we were told that Dorado Maroma has one of the best stretches of beach in the Riviera! The service was some of the best I've ever received. The staff, all around, were so helpful and super friendly/professional. The food/restaurants on property are truly top notch!!! All our servers were great! The activities provided on site were also very well planned and very fun! The entertainment and live music was also really good! Everything was better than I could have expected! Being it the first time visiting this resort, my wife and I had a most amazing time. All the staff was completely top notch and extremely friendly and professional. The food and accommodations were excellent, and if I had any questions or concerns the staff would go out of their way to remedy the situation. I would like to thank the event staff specifically (Marco, Jerik, Mauricio, Marlon, DJ Chris, & Alex). These guys were so much fun and they treated you like family. They went out of their way to ensure we were having fun and that we felt welcomed. Great job!!! Looking forward to staying here again!!!

Beautiful sunsets, delicious food, intimate resort where you can get to know other guests as well as the amazing staff. Highly recommend doing the daily activities - dance lessons with Mauricio and kayak with Marlon were some of the highlights. We did pool volleyball, bingo, ping pong, crafts, walks on the beach, snorkeling… it was fabulous

We love Maroma, like family. Very kind staff. Beautiful grounds. Great food. We love the beach beds. Food is great and there are plenty of choices. Ricks bar is not not always busy but I love it busy and not busy. Bartenders Felipe (I love him )and Karen and the entertainment staff do Chris. And Marlon kept checking on everyone to make sure they were having fun Everyone was so great too many name all I really LOVE the beach beds and the men who helped us with that every morning.
