Thebloem Guest Suites by Knysna Paradise Collection

We spent three nights in room 1 of this fabulous little guest house on a steep hill overlooking the knysna lagoon. Our room had a patio with two sun beds and two chairs and a table. The patio was next to the main one and not private and could be noisy at night when there were other guests back from dinner sitting outside. However the view was perfect and you could see the Knysna heads from your sun bed. Although the room could have been more comfortable ( a sofa instead of two modern chairs, more table space and a bathroom door that reached the floor!) the air conditioning worked well and the staff went over and above to make our stay perfect. They were incredibly attentive and tried to make sure we had everything we could need. Breakfast was amazing - they gave you whatever you wanted. There was complimentary tea and cake at the sister property every day between 4 and 5 and complimentary happy hour for drinks between 7 and 8 which was the perfect start to the evening. The staff cleaned the room while you were out, topped up the complimentary fruit bowl and left chocolates and an after dinner drink for you at turndown for when you returned from dinner. It is possible to walk down the hill into town and although we did walk back up once, a taxi or uber is more sensible! The owners were very friendly and I think they do an amazing job. We really enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend this lovely boutique hotel.

These absolutely stunning guest suites are just amazing. The view when entering is just beautiful! Our suite, number four, completely exceeded our expectations in every way. It was incredible. We were extremely well looked after and the breakfast was delicious, just about everything you could wish for. We would not hesitate to recommend this little piece of paradise. TheBloem was an excellent stay and it is highly recommend. This is our first trip to South Africa and the Garden Route. Everyone at TheBloem did the outmost to help us make the best out of our trip. TheBloem has a fabulous view over the Krysna River and the Indian Ocean in the background. The room, service, breakfast, staff and everything else was simply outstanding and it comes with our highest recommendation.

One of the most stunning places we've ever stayed at. The staff is very welcoming and helpful, with a lot of great attention to detail (welcome drink, chocolate and fruits in the room, breakfast wishes). The room was spacious, modern and very beautiful, with a terrace overlooking the landscape. Can highly recommend THEBLOEM.

Excellent service and the friendliest staff - very committed to making your stay the most comfortable. The room was gorgeous and the view was a highlight! Comfy bed, great shower pressure. Even accommodated a very early unplanned check in time!
