We had a wonderful stay! The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and always went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The service was excellent from start to finish. The room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully kept — perfect for relaxing after exploring Franschhoek. The food was also delicious, and every meal felt thoughtfully prepared. Overall, it was a truly peaceful and enjoyable experience — we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Franschhoek!

Luxurious stay at this residence. We enjoyed the big room with the fire place. Dinner at the restaurant was great and also the breakfast options were excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The complimentary shuttle to the centre is great but it was also a nice walk to get there. Thank you for having us!

The team here are exceptional, great location and incredibly useful to have the shuttle service if going a bit further into town. The gardens are stunning and the food is delicious

Cannot recommend too highly, the buildings, garden and staff are all delightful. One point to note is the hotel shuttle buses which will drop you off and pick up from anywhere in the town, like your own personal taxi.

WOW! What a property. It was a glorious castle of a place. The rooms made you feel like you were in an episode of Bridgerton! Spectacular rooms with beautiful decorations and atmosphere. Lots of places to sit and relax with real fires and service to get drinks so you don't have to move. Gorgeous grounds and wonderful scenery. Pricey but totally worth it!

We had a wonderful weekend staying at Franschhoek country house and villas. From attentive and friendly staff, to sherry on arrival, heated pool, open fires and delicious food at the restaurant.

My huaband and I had the most amazing time staying at Franschhoek Country House and Villas. From the friendly staff, amazing hospitality and cosy Villa suite. We felt welcomed from the minute we got there until we left. The staff was very helpfull. Would definitely recommend this wonderful spot to anyone coming to Franschhoek. You won't be disappointed.
