Booked an Opera House view room and it delivered that view, but cleanliness and general maintenance/ upkeep of the property was disappointing. Discovered a scrap of fried food (hash brown?) on the first night and provided feedback to the front desk, but it remained there till we checked out three nights later.

Good place for the Rocks, circular quay, opera house & botanic garden as well as shopping if needed retail therapy. It needs upgrade however overall a good hotel to stay

It's heart of city center, walking to Opera House and circular quay (ferry). Bed little old but location excellent. Highly recommend. Enjoy early checkin lounge, refreshments water, coffee and snacks.

Marriott hotel is located 5 minutes walking distance from Circular Quay Station. Many restaurants nearby, but many closes by 8pm. Nearest McDonald’s opens 24hours, located just opposite the train station. Pitt Street Mall is a 15 minutes walk down the street. Shopping malls and supermarkets are located there. Sydney Opera House is also within walking distance from hotel.
Booked 2 rooms, placed request to have both rooms on the same level but they did not accommodate to the request. So we had 2 rooms on 2 levels. Which was quite inconvenient. One of the rooms we were allocated had a bathtub and separate rain shower area. Rooms were of decent size. Pillows were uncomfortable. Right opposite of the hotel was an office building. Opera House is located to the left of the window. Caught a firework show on my last night there as there was an event at the opera house.
Overall I enjoyed my stay at Marriott.
