This is my second time staying in Palais de Chine. Really enjoyed it the first time so came back again. This time, we were given a 30sqm room even though we paid for a 37sqm room for some reason, but my husband said not to say anything as it's just for one night. The room was nice enough with a very nice bath in the corner. We had an executive room so had access to the lounge. Nice set-up with snacks and drinks and service was good. They were also nice enough to pack some breakfast for us as we couldn't make it due to prior engagements. Would happily stay here again.

Came in 2 times before a few years ago, was impressed by the hotel design and the French vibes then, plus the nice glass wardrobe in room. This time came and perhaps the hotel has becomes old and a bit unkept...not the same feeling already...yet the location remains convenient near the stations. It is still worth the money.

We stayed at the Palais de Chine twice - one night before a 5 day tour and 3 nights after. We had a Superior King room on both occasions that was at a corner so we had windows on two sides. We could sit in the circular bath and look out over Taipei Main Station! We managed to leave a couple of items behind after out first stay but the hotel was able to return them to us when we stayed the second time. We found all staff members to be friendly and helpful. Note it takes a good 10 minutes to walk through the shopping centre maze to get to / from the MRT to the airport.
