The Leela, Kovalam is an amazing hotel, which my 11 year old son and I would highly recommend! It is on a cliff top overlooking the Arabian Sea. We upgraded to Club Room, which provides you with access to The Cafe, a restaurant serving Club members complimentary breakfast 7-10:30am and High Tea 5-6pm and additional a La carts chargeable lunch and dinner. The Club room is exceptional, with a balcony with table and chairs overlooking the Arabian Sea, King bed with very comfortable mattress and bedding, fantastic walk in shower, sink and toilet, with all the toiletries. Rooms are cleaned well and the food is wonderful. We ate everything safely with no upset stomached here and the staff were wonderful! We would happily return!

The hotel was a great spot for a resort and the food had so many different types and the pool was so huge and the people were so friendly. I have to name few people: if you travel ask for them, and they will make you feel home! - Sahana: Guest relations officer, this lady goes next level in making sure your stay is comfortable. She reminds every minute of what to see, experience and guided us throughout. - In Kitchen, Surya (Asst Manager), Sushma, Ricky, Palani. All around there and they won’t let you do anything and they make sure it reaches your table to have your brkfst, dinner etc comfortably. We booked as a package of breakfast and dinner, this is the best option, since you will sit back, relax and enjoy the nature mother’s continued dance. Remember, if you are a person to experience sea and seashore, this must visit hilltop resort should be in your travel list.
