This was the first time we’ve ever stayed in a “boutique “ hotel and let me say we hit the jackpot picking Hotel Lago. Truly a memorable stay with everything absolutely perfect. The entire hotel is immaculate and the rooms offer breathtaking views of the lake. The hotel is decorated beautifully and everything is up to date. The owner and his entire staff treated us like family. The free breakfast they offer is so good and dinner overlooking the lake was delicious and perfect. We picked Hotel Lago on Trip Advisor through past reviews and were so glad we did. Definitely stay here if you’re planning a trip to Lake Como. You will not be disappointed.

This is dangerous . This guy threatened my mom and I (see the video) . he took our bags He wouldn’t let us leave . see police report below. we have to pay in full before we can book (see email confirming this) . We did not try to leave without paying . That’s a lie . just read his policy, you have to pay at the time Of booking. He’s not licensed to shuttle guests either . He’s driving illegally . He’s a thief . Do not stay here my 76 year old mom had her bags ripped out of her hand aggressively see photo and video to prove. We reported you to bellagio police as well . Like your other review says you lack integrity .. you’re going to have issues moving forward . I’ll be posting this on all the US travel sites. Please see note from another guest in the photo he got in his wife’s face . He is scary

This hotel was Terrible . We paid in full prior to arrival and the hotel smelled bad . We wanted to leave and the owner took our bags and wouldn’t let us leave (see the video of the owner going crazy on us) . He ripped luggage out of my 76 year old mother’s hand and scared her. The owner , also says he will taxi . He’s doing so illegally he doesn’t have a license to do so. He responds to my review by saying we were trying to leave without paying. I included a pic of my confirmation in the email. We paid in full prior to arrival that’s a lie. Read the other review from someone who also says they don’t have integrity. That’s correct they don’t . we have a police report as well. We included in the picture as the owner was aggressive and inappropriate. My mom and I traveling without a man and he took advantage of this with toxic masculinity and intimidation factors to woman. I couldn’t believe anyone would do this to us .

I have travelled to many locations in Europe and can honestly say that this hotel rates #1 boutique hotel I have ever been to for many, many reasons. Roberto the owner and his children are completely attentive to your every need. They are warm, welcoming and friendly with every request being attended to with swift efficiency! The hotel is very modern with every little detail having been considered. Large rooms with all the necessary amenities. The food is excellent, and the ambiance luxurious. If you are visiting the Lake Como area......stay here! I will definitely return! Very well done Roberto 👍🏻 Thank you

An amazing trip to hotel Lago! The views spectacular, the room sizes are spacious extremely comfortable. Very clean boutique hotel that smells wonderful. The family run hotel is perfecto! Roberto looked after my daughter and I extremely well. We will be back again! We had such a memorable trip to Hotel Lago!

Ricardo and Roberto were amazing hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Maria, the server and Nadia at the front desk were very accommodating. The hotel was clean, and our family felt very safe. Beds were great and views were amazing from our terraces! Highly recommend Hitel Lago!

Great place to stay with a panoramic view of the lake to wake up to from a most comfortable bed, friendly helpful staff, superb breakfast buffet and choice of evening meals plus a bar. Will stay again without question.

This hotel is a very quiet beautiful hotel. Family ran which I love! Roberto was so accommodating. He picked me up from the airport in Milan and during my stay drove me to Como and picked me up. The rest of the staff helped guide me to the walking path so I could easily get to different restaurants in Torno. The beds were super comfortable… breakfast was fantastic and the dinner was so tasty. They do not have a pool which I would have enjoyed but that’s ok. This hotel had everything we needed and more!
