Rooms are incredibly poor for a 4 star or even a 3 star hotel: cheaply decorated, badly maintained, worn out mattresses. Left immediately after check in.

The hotel is good. We were here for 2 nights. It is located in the very center of the city, we walked to everything on foot. The staff is friendly. Our room was big. The second bed was on the couch. We had free parking. The room od spacious and clean.

The hotel has a good location. Nearby is the entrance to the Old Town, a small market, streets with boutiques. The hotel is small, cozy, the rooms are spacious, the toilets too, there was soap, shampoos, shower gels, hot water. Good internet. The furniture is not new, but everything is neat. Cleaning every day, attentive staff. The downside is the view from the windows and a modest breakfast. The restaurant is expensive.

It is unthinkable that guests at 10 o'clock in the morning will be expelled from the garden of the Platani Hotel because coffee cannot be drunk while breakfast is in progress. The waiter pointed to the part of the garden where it was raining and said: Coffee is drunk in this part! Extremely unprofessional and rude behavior of the staff.

Our room (the junior suite) offered nice views of the corner of the square and was spacious and very comfortable (great beds, nice shower, good air conditioning) despite a few quirks (lack of power outlets, a few broken light bulbs, overabundance of pictures of Monica Bellucci just because she stayed there, furniture stored in the hallways). The breakfast buffet, however, was disappointing: “juice” that tastes like sugared water, lukewarm tea, cold fried and/or scrambled eggs, run-of-the-mill charcuterie and below-average cheese.
