My family & I recently stayed at this property, and the service was awesome!! We would definitely book here again!! To speak on why we would...One of the elevators was out of order, which is beyond their control, so to make the unpleasant situation pleasant; guests were provided with snacks and soda in the lobby while we waited for the elevator ... in addition to this dilemma, the water lines had to be tested, and the hotel was without water pressure for a little while; with that being said, guest were informed arrangements had been made so that we could use the neighboring hotel .... all the staff was extremely nice and I especially appreciated the security of ID check before a room key was given ... because there wasn't a hot-tub, I will give this hotel a 9/10 ... Wonderful booking

We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Virginia Beach and was very disappointed with my experience. While the room renovations were decent, the rest of the property left much to be desired. The biggest issue is the misleading photos online — they show an outdoor pool attached to the building that does not belong to this hotel. This is false advertising and very frustrating for guests expecting that amenity. There is no outdoor pool, and the indoor pool is extremely small and filthy. I mentioned this to the front desk, and their excuse was that it’s a “partial saltwater pool,” which makes no sense — saltwater pools should still be clean and clear. On top of that, the ice machines were broken on four different floors, and the top door by the garage was often stuck, forcing guests to walk down the parking deck just to get inside. This hotel definitely needs to update its property and remove the misleading pictures from its website. Until improvements are made, I would not recommend staying here.
